The Food was really good! The Choice of dishes was huge. The waitresses were really friendly and the water is in the Price for the cuperto included 🤗🤗Also it is a bit away from the Tourist area.

Wow, what an incredible place! There's outdoor seating overlooking a small square, but inside the dining room is gorgeous and filled with plants. The menu is a nice mix of traditional Italian dishes and seems to change regularly. We had the most wonderful courgette flowers, vegan salami with sliced roast potatoes, pea and mint gnocchi, and aubergine pasta. Oh and crème Catalan that was so tasty, we almost licked the plate. Highly recommend.

When you find yourself in Florence and can spend a little bit more on dinner: go there, try it, it’s awesome.
Read moreThey have quite a lot of tables inside and out and they seem to have a long list of reservations, so consider to book a table ahead.
We were lucky enough to still get a table outside. Whole lot of love for the little animal figures on each table and the overall design with a lot of flowers and style.
We shared the cheese platter, it is a bit pricey but soooo good. Vegan cheese isn’t the cheapest, we all know that.
Main courses for us were a chicken like dish and gnocchi (or gnocchetti?). Both were really, really good.
Everything else on the menu is delicious, too, I bet.
For desserts we had a cheese cake with chocolate and a peach tiramisu. You can probably guess: yummy!
Staff were really friendly and extremely helpful, even giving background information about the wines. Very nice!
Since all of this probably already reads like a love letter: I love this restaurant. It’s more fine dining than it is casual, therefore a little more expensive but if you can afford that, definitely go for it. Prices aren’t out of this world, they’re just really worth it.

I was pleasantly surprised. From the pictures I’d seen online I expected the plates to be much smaller but the quantity was huge. Maybe the eggplant is kinda small but it’s definitely a must- it was my fav out of everything. Regarding the desserts, I saw so many great reviews about the creme brûlée, but I’d say the peach tiramisu is the champion by far. Service was kinda slow tho.

This place is just PERFECT. The taste is awesome and they have the whole menu gluten free. Recommendations to order: The cheese tasting board (I don’t remember the name), the parmigiana and the gorgonzola gnocchis.

We loved everything about L'OV. The place is super cute, the staff is very friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. Probably the best fries in the world.

Definitely need to taste their cheese plate, a lot of different cheeses and the Gluten free (not that I care) is really tasty.
Overall 5 stars well-deserved for L'OV. Don't miss it if you come to Florence and make sure to book in advance.

My partner and I loved this restaurant! I'm vegan and eat gluten, but didn't even miss the gluten here. I got the get watermelon and seitan skewers and both were so delicious. My partner got a mushroom dish that was incredible! The dishes were all so unique and they do some magic with the gluten free choices!

For mains I got the lemon yellow tomato spaghetti and my partner got the romanesco vegan chicken main. The spaghetti was far too lemony for me but the romanesco dish was yum. The sauce was divine!! Maybe it would be nicer with some pasta rather than just chicken.
Finally we got the crème brulee which was AMAZING - a must try.
Overall delicious and would highly recommend!

The staff was friendly and the interior was stunning. The drinks where wonderful and there was many options for vegans. I liked that it was gluten free and mostly organic however the food was bad. It lacked flavor and wasn't executed well. It was a bit expensive and didn't feel high quality. I had the carbonara and I tasted the gnocchi and I wasn't impressed. I suggest going there only for the interior and drinks.

My meal here was honestly my most favorite during my entire trip to Italy this month. However, I’ve rated this restaurant four stars because the service was odd and disappointing.
Read moreFirst, the tagliatelle is out of this world! I could have just eaten this dish the rest of my time in Italy. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the flavors were put together so well. And the soy meat was also very tasty. I wish I could eat this dish everyday! I also loved the little plastic animals on the tables, which I positioned by my plate. 🦒 🦓
In regards to the service, my server immediately told me she did not speak English and wasn’t able to take my order. I then had to rely on Google translate to do so. Originally, I didn’t think anything of this because I wasn’t in an English-speaking country after all; however, not long after, there was another table of Americans sitting behind me all of which placed their orders with the same server in English with the server speaking English back. I was just really surprised. The server also took forever to take my order and to bring me my bill. It also turns out I was being charged a cover charge which was supposed to include water and bread. My server never brought any of these things and the person taking my payment for my meal was very insistent on keeping this charge when it was my server’s fault for forgetting to bring them. Had it not been for this incident and odd service, I would have eaten here several times more during my trip.

All vegan restaurant! I had (shared) 4 courses, all of them very good! Also the menu was very creative - not your usual vegan menu at all! We need more places like this. All dishes are gluten free, worked for me, even though I do not avoid gluten.
