I saw the Virgin lavender lemon Mocktail as soon as I looked at the menu and couldn't resist. What a refreshing surprise!! After browsing their VEGAN menu, I decided on the Vegan Angel sandwich and added the flame grilled marinated portobello mushroom. I paired it with the vegan truffle fries and a side of BBQ sauce. I cannot tell you how happy and satisfied I was with the meal. Coming in mid week for lunch, there was no wait, the service was amazing and the food came quickly!! Thank you for doing vegan good fresh and delicious!

I tried the Thai Peanut Tofu Bowl with sweet chili and Thai peanut dipping sauces, served over brown rice. Separate vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free menus, plus their regular menu. Food for everyone. Very friend staff.

Stumbled upon Louie’s while walking around town. They had different menus hanging out front to check out. The vegan menu was two-sided and had lots of choices. I had the Thai Tofu Canoes. It was listed under the small plates but it was plenty of food for me. It had a nice level of sweet and spicy flavors, with shredded cabbage & carrots and marinated tofu. Very tasty!

Lots of Vegetarian and Vegan options. Separate menus for Vegetarian, Vegan and gluten free. I had a Thai Tofu Bowl with peanut sauce and hot/sweet chili sauce over brown rice. Delicious! Creek side patio dining in warm weather was lovely. Reasonable prices. Great service.

They have a complete vegan menu, and what we had was both tasty and far more creative and capable than only Impossible Meat options. The Thai canoes were flavorful and fresh.

More of an upscale restaurant but not too expensive. My favorite dishes are the Thai tofu wrap and the pesto tofu sandwich. Always upgrade to fries over the potato chips! It's worth it! Good place to go with non-vegan family and friends.

Decent vegan burger, but you have to explain to the host how to make a burger vegan...off the vegan menu?? Was difficult to order to simple vegan meals, if they had more knowlegeable staff there wouldn't be a problem.

How wonderful to find a restaurant on our visit to Ashland where there is a separate vegan menu! The locally made tofu is very good! Also had the tasty, nutrition packed Organic Sesame Slaw. Service was very friendly and helpful with accommodating specific dietary needs. I now know where to eat whenever I'm traveling through Ashland!

I had a great experience ordering from their separate vegan menu. The prices aren’t too bad and are pretty decent considering the food tasted very good quality. I have the tofu burger and veggie burger with fries and sweet potato waffles. It was refreshing to get a decent veggie burger that came with a full side for a decent price and confirmed on a vegan menu. Thanks Louie’s! Would definitely recommend and Will definitely stop by again

I loved this place. The service was so friendly and it was wonderful to have a separate vegan menu. We Went there twice in 3 days...had drinks, a couple small plates - black truffle fries (mmmm) and Thai tofu canoes (outstanding!)...and the Thai peanut bowl (delicious). Creekside seating was lovely.

Get a seat outside by the creek for ambiance and that is why I'm giving them a 4. The lettuce wraps are just ok but look pretty. We couldn't pick them up and cut them instead. The hummus plate is bland in that it is plain hummus with carrots, celery and bread. We didn't have time for a main course so leaving review at a 4. I did give positive feedback that they should carry a veg cheese or sub (avo) for impossible burger without charging more. We did not have the burger.

We happened to meet the owner the day we were in. We expressed how thankful we were to see two pages of vegan entrees on the menu! She mentioned that she became vegan herself and is very proud of the new menu. Everything was yummy!

They have a vegetarian menu where most things can be made vegan. I asked the staff if they had a vegan menu and I was given a cheatsheet to go with the vegetarian menu on how to make it vegan.

Welcoming to vegetarians - Edit
Louie's is making a huge effort to be veg-friendly -- the new menu has V next to vegetarian dishes, and many of these can be made vegan. The staff is very friendly and accommodating -- always happy to answer questions and to help turn a dish vegan when possible.
Read moreLouie's is located in Ashland's Plaza and has a beautiful, dark-wood interior with a beautiful bar. The outdoor creekside patio is sprawling and a lovely place to dine in good weather.
Both the atmosphere and food at Louie's is fun and casual. There are many vegetarian options on the menu, fewer vegan-only items. The Thai peanut wrap is the best vegan dish on the menu. The Vegetarian Recession Burger can easily be made vegan, and the chili is also vegan.
Louie's is known for its mojitos, but the martinis are also fantastic.
With only a few places in Ashland that are veg- and vegan-friendly, Louie's is a great option.
