Delicious Vegan and Vegetarian - Edit
The Cedars restaurant at Lough Eske Castle hotel has an elegant and yet relaxing atmosphere. The separate vegan/vegetarian menu offers choices that are all delicious and sophisticated. The vegan cauliflower soup is amazing!

Great fancy dinner and decent breakfast - Edit
We enjoyed our stay at the Lough Eske Castle. We ate at the hotel restaurant twice for dinner. There is a separate vegan menu that offers 2-3 vegan options for each of the three courses. We could tell that they had put a lot of thought into their vegan menu and thought it was very good! We especially loved the pasta option. Additionally, they have vegan bread and butter to start.

Very helpful breakfast staff - Edit
The staff at the breakfast buffet were very helpful in ensuring me a proper meal. The buffet had a beautiful spread of fresh fruit and fruit juices. While the Cedars Restaurant at the hotel had a dedicated vegan menu for dinner, they did not have one for breakfast. When I spoke with the server she was very helpful in suggesting and arranging a meal for me. She brought me vegan porridge with wonderful fresh jam, as well as vegan toast with avocado and mushrooms (I missed a picture of my toast). It was fresh and filling and left very happy and satisfied. Unfortunately we are only staying for one night passing through because I really would have liked to try the vegan menu for dinner. There were some lovely options!
