Tasty Vegan Burger with options - Edit
I wasn't sold on the only official vegan burger on the menu but when asked I was able to veganise many of the burger options. I had the Phat Boi and skin on fries (minus the honey etc. And replaced with another sauce). It was delicious! I often worry about the idea of a vegetable based patty (e.g. bean burger) as they can be stodgy but this was delicious and actually had some "rubberyness" to it in the BEST possible way. I can't think of another way to describe it but it was stodgy at all. Service was a bit flat and the young lad on the till was very abrupt when it came to splitting the bill as he looked flustered and basically said he didn't have time to sort it out with us. Which I get! But it would have been nice if he wasn't so abrupt.

Love the vegan options at Lou and Joe’s. We always eat here if we’re visiting the area. Always our first choice, also do fab non-alcoholic cocktails!

Best Vegan Burgers - Edit
Absolutely love Lou & Joes. We’ve been countless times and always want to go back. Never had a bad meal or experience, recommend the GOAT burger made vegan and the Vietnamese fries!! Would give 5 stars if I could but they are a predominately meat restaurant. Be good to see a vegan milkshake on there maybe but the food is mint!!

Amazing burger - Edit
Super friendly & helpful staff, I had the G.O.A.T burger without cheese & it was incredible. The best vegan burger I've had. The menu is clearly marked & there are other vegan options (including dessert). Highly recommended.

There are a few vegan options at Lou & Joe's, but the staff are able to veganise a lot of the menu. The food is absolutely delicious, very filling and the staff are helpful and friendly. I will definitely be going back whenever I'm close by

A nice modern new eatery in Holmfirth. 2 veggie burgers and 1 vegan burger. The two veggies can be made vegan on request. The pulled jackfruit burger is really good and tasty 🌱💚
