Service is too slow for a vey small place - Edit
Food was okay, 1st time i went there the service was okay. 2nd time they took forever to get back to us for the desserts and we just ended up paying the bill on the counter and left for some reason there 2 waiters and 1 of them just disappeared. 3rd time messed up our order and gave us an extra cake that we cancelled and argued that we did not cancel it, there were only 3 of us, why would we order extra cake but any way that is fine we just brought it home (the chocolate cake is not good by the way) And 4th and last time they're out of desserts, almost all of them were out, why even put in the menu? My order took forever to come out and they were not even that busy, a lot of empty tables, maybe half full. I noticed a couple came in sat got a menu and no one got back to them that they just decided to leave. So my order finally came which was a burger which was not that great, no ketchup in it so i had to put what little ketchup i had in it and so I'm left without ketchup for my french fries. So, i asked for a little ketchup and waitress told me extra $1 for ketchup, seriously? Save yourself the trouble, there are a lot of vegan thai places around.
Read morePros: Way too many options, cut down your menu to half, And maybe that will help with your slow service
Cons: Way too slow for a very tiny place, Expensive - $1 for an extra small ketchup, What happened to customers are always right?

A little bland - Edit
Was excited to try this place since we love Thai cuisine, but ultimately thought our food was decent at best. We ordered two pad thai with chicken and beef, but could not differentiate between the two. Both proteins were soggy and flavorless, and the pad thai itself lacked sauce and flavor. We also ordered the chicken appetizer, which seemed to be a breaded Morningstar chicken patty with sweet sauce. The fried dumplings were good, probably the best of everything! Lastly we had a slice of chocolate cake which was super grainy. The staff was wonderfully pleasant and kind, I just wish the food was more flavorful.

Phenomenal food! - Edit
We had a delicious lunch-shared the fresh rolls and burrito #2. The peanut sauce for the fresh rolls was one of the best I’ve ever had, and nice consistency(not too thick!). Likewise the homemade salsa had a yummy smoky flavor. The whole wheat wrap on the burrito was soft and fresh. This was more than enough food for both of us! We can’t wait to come back and try more things!

hit and miss - Edit
I've been here 4 times now. First time was great, 2nd & 3rd good, 4th was just blah. The panang tastes like baby food, no real flavor and filled with peas and carrots. Their stir fried dishes are better. I haven't had breakfast there yet, but I will be going and trying that out.

Fresh and Delicious - check it out. - Edit
Low key vibe, great friendly service, clean and cool. They’ve got it together. We had pad Thai with soy chicken and a Spicy noodle dish. Both light and yummy! Sticky mango rice for desert. Super good. The server said after What the Health came out they were packed every night! Relaxed atmosphere, fresh ingredients (and celebrity sightings😀)

disappointing overall experience - Edit
I came here for the first time and thought the food was above average.
Read moreI actually came back two more times in the same week.
I do not expect a red carpet reception , HOWEVER , it is basic manners to say hello and maybe bring a glass of water ?
I sat for 20 minutes , the place was half empty , when the server came to my table , she said " U READY ?"
There is plenty of Thai vegan waiting for the chance to shine.
Get it together people
Pros: parking lot , decent food
Cons: poor service , staff acts bothered to be there

Near Warner Brothers Studios - Edit
I went to the Warner Brothers Studio Tour with my family and was looking for some vegan food afterwards. Lotus Vegan was only about a two mile drive from the studio so we decided to go there. The place is pretty big. There's plenty of sitting inside and a couple of tables outside as well.
Read moreWe went for lunch so we mostly ordered lunch specials for our meals. For appetizers we started with fried dumplings and spring rolls. The spring rolls were much better than the dumplings. The dumplings weren't bad, but I've definitely had better.
I ordered the Broccoli lunch special with tofu for my meal. My mom and brother both ordered the Pad Thai and my dad ordered the Mystery Stir Fried Veg with tofu. My other brother just ate the rest of the spring rolls and dumplings. The lunch specials come with a spring roll and a choice of soup or salad. We all ordered the Miso Soup. I haven't had Miso soup in probably 15 years because I've never found a vegan version before this, so I thought it was pretty good. However, my omnivore parents and brothers, who eat regular Miso soup all the time, thought it tasted good, but not like Miso soup.
My parents liked the spring rolls and said they were comparable with non-vegan versions. The rice that comes with the meal looks interesting, its a sort of red color, but I thought it was very good. We all really enjoyed our meals.
Our bill only came out to $50 which you can't really beat for 4 meals with soup, rice, and a spring roll plus two appetizers and drinks. The portion sizes look a little small at first but it was enough to fill us all up, and trust me that's not an easy task.
Pros: Great value, Friendly staff, Good food
Cons: Some items better than others

I will come back! - Edit
Great place! Estensive menu with a wide variety of both Thai and American food. I love Asian food, so I had a glass noodles soup and fresh summer rolls... so good!!!! Like the ones I had many times in South East Asia. My husband prefers American food and he got a great soy chicken burger. It was super delicious. Staff very nice, lovely place. Highly recommended, I will definitely come back next time I am in LA

Go To Vegan Spot - Edit
Lotus Vegan is my go to vegan spot. It's pretty close to my house, and they are open later than others in my area. Generally speaking the food is good. There are some dishes that are hit and miss. Some go to's- the curry, fried rice, orange chicken, spicy mint noodles, seitan wrap and the soup. They also delivery, which is great!

A favorite - Edit
I love this place. I used to live in North Hollywood, and that was dangerous for my budget since this place was so close. Luckily the prices are fair and they have an awesome lunch special! The service is so great, there is a server there named Ty that is there pretty much anytime I go and he's the most wonderful server I've ever had. Food is tasty and there are a lot of options and a wide variety.
