Foods a tad Basic - Edit
The small menu is appreciated, I need this place to flourish as it's the last Vegan place in my hometown at the time of writing this, the boba smoothies are good as usual, the price isn't that high and the service was fantastic.
Read moreHowever, I ordered the samosas and the peanut curry and both dishes tasted unremarkable. They were good but if you travel & frequent Asian restaurants like myself, these dishes do not offer a more enjoyable nor different taste.
I need this place to survive of course therefore I may be leaving more reviews the next time I'm home and I will be pushing others to visit this place.
Great location and the service is very friendly.

Great new vegan spot in Boulder! - Edit
Everything was so delicious! Two appetizers, several bowls of pho and tasty lemongrass tofu were all great. The mango sticky rice and a brownie rounded out the meal. Gluten free items marked very clearly on the menu! #Veganuary

Vegan Pho - Edit
Great food, friendly owners & staff, and quick service. Talked to the owner a little bit and very nice, as he & wife are vegan and opened in Nov 2024 (if I remember correctly).

Wow - Edit
Ordered one of the Báhn mì sandwiches and I’m completely blown away. The “ham” actually tasted like real ham. The sandwich was pretty big, filling, and most importantly delicious. Also inexpensive! Definitely going back.

Great food - Edit
Nice menu with good variety of dishes and lots of different options to choose from in terms of protein. Gluten free options are clearly marked as well (and plenty). Good boba too and friendly service. The pho was great and the regular portion size was just right. Can also recommend the mango sticky rice. :)

Wish them the best of luck - Edit
Boulder seems to be a particularly difficult place to run a vegan restaurant, which is odd given the stereotypes. This is the currently the only vegan restaurant still in business here, so I hope they find success.
Read moreAs of my visit last month, they had yet to update the sign and make it their own space, but hopefully it can become something great. #Veganuary

I went there last night and it was open. I ordered to go and they offered me water while I was waiting. The same sort of consideration appears in their food.

Pros: Gluten free options, More than just pho, All vegan!
Cons: Food was mid; I wish for more veggies and spices, Not many types of gluten free pho, Could have more options

Great for the whole fam - Edit
My 5 and 2 year old loved the “calamari” and the chikkin drumsticks. They were very realistic with a sugarcane bone and crispy rice paper skin. My husband enjoyed his pho and my noodle bowl was delicious. Owner is very kind as well.

Super Delicious Authentic Vietnamese restaurant - Edit
My husband took my here yesterday to celebrate our 19th year wedding anniversary. Fantastic! Super delicious Pho with vegan chicken and veggies. The sticky rice coconut pudding with fresh mango.. a 5 star . Lovely little restaurant owned by Twee and her husband. If you want a super treat where no animals are killed this is the place... The owners are so friendly and sweet and kind. Service is friendly and so they have a Vietnamese cook who cooks authentic Vietnamese vegan food.

Great new vegan place in town! - Edit
I got the vegetable curry with noodles and it was great. It wasn’t too spicy for me (I have a low spice tolerance) but there’s chili sauce if you want more spice. My dad got the noodle bowl with spring roll which he said was great too.

I recently dined at Lotus Moon Vegan Pho and had a generally pleasant experience. The food was good overall, though it didn’t quite blow me away.
Read moreThe highlight for me was the Boba tea — I loved that it came with three different types of Boba, which made it fun and unique. The pho had a nice depth of flavor and was definitely satisfying. The spring rolls were fresh and enjoyable, though not particularly memorable.
The bun dish was decent, but the accompanying sauce was a bit on the bland side, which left me wanting more seasoning or brightness. Unfortunately, the mango sticky rice was the biggest letdown. The rice was a bit too mushy and grainy, and the mango wasn’t ripe, making it both tart and oddly mushy as well.
Overall, Lotus Moon Vegan Pho serves solid Vietnamese food with some hits and a few misses. I’d return for the pho and Boba tea, but I might skip the mango sticky rice next time.
Pros: Boba tea - three different types of boba
Cons: Mango sticky rice - mushy and grainy
EllenKessler
Interesting, but the mango in my sticky rice dish was quite ripe. Give it another shot.

Excited to have a new all-vegan restaurant in Boulder - Edit
High quality food, perfectly prepared. Loved the pho, which was chock full of veggies, tofu, and mushrooms (and the noodles, of course). Tasty broth! Also sampled mango and sweet sticky rice. I'm a fan. Great customer service; Tweety is a doll. I plan to eat here all the time when I'm in Boulder.

All Vegan sit down service - Edit
Not fast casual, for the win! They just opened & are working out some kinks. We thought the food tasted fresh with great flavors, though a bit mild. That's what the accompanying Hoisin and hot sauce is for. We started with the Crystal Rolls, which a fresh spring rolls with a delicious peanut sauce. Then we had the Vermicelli Bowl & Banh Mi. The bread for the Banh Mi was crunchy on outside, soft on inside, and perfect! Finished our meal with mango sticky rice, and having never had it before I thought it was delicious. Come on out vegans to support this new restaurant! You won't be disappointed!
