There is a section on the menu for vegetarian dishes. We asked to be sure but most of them are vegan anyway.

The stuff was very friendly and helpful.
I’m feeling like Lotus Café is one of a few that offers not only one vegetarian/vegan meal.

We asked for the vegan options and the waitress said that the vegetarian dishes had milk/egg in it. So nothing vegan. I don’t know if this was true, wanted to ask more, but the waitress just left us alone. Feeling like vegan was to difficult

Leuke eetplek waarbij het personeel vriendelijk was en wist wat vegan was. Zo konden ze makkelijk uitleggen welke vegetarische gerechten op de menu ook vegan waren. We hebben de springrolls en mimosas gegeten als voorgerecht en pad Thai en curry als hoofdgerecht. Zeer smaakvol. (Hoewel niet echt pikant).

Trotz anders lautender Beschreibung gibt es hier laut Auskunft des Servicepersonals keinerlei vegane Optionen. Lediglich vegetarische Gerichte seien im Angebot weswegen wir unverrichteter Dinge wieder weiter gezogen sind.

had a really good time there and it was absolutely delicious. The waitress was very sympathetic and told me which plates were vegan and which not - I took the vegetarian/vegan option from the days menu. We added a bit more siracha and soy sauce to our food, just ask the staff for the sauces (I think they’re just in general a bit more careful when it comes to spice because of the French cuisine).

Location of the restaurant is great. We got a new waiter on his first day, so interactions were funny, but the staff was very helpful. For starter we have chosen samosas (vegan) and spring rolls (vegetarian) both of the starters were delicious! As for the main dish, we have chosen Pad Thai and Tom Yam. Both of the main dishes were tasty, but totally lacked spices, which was disappointing. Price-wise we paid around 13 euros per main course, which is quite good for the location. Altogether 52 euros for a beer, a cocktail (that are around 7-10 euros), two starters, two main dishes and two coffees. Can't complain about the price! What I did not like was the toilet that really needs refreshment.

Convenient Thai restaurant with veggie options - Edit
This Thai restaurant has a vegetarian menu clearly labeled with several vegan options (such as vegetables in wok, samosas and spring rolls). It is better to ask which ones are vegan to be sure. It is one of the few restaurants in the area with vegan options which makes it very convenient despite its touristic orientation. The staff was very friendly and the cook is Thai. The food was good and options are generous. I recommend the vegetables with Thai basil and chili, as well as the samosas. The food is not too expensive and they have homemade 'arranged' rums. A convenient place to consider in Lacanau Océan.
