I was pleasantly surprised, the place looks quite traditional but there were a number of sweet and savoury options! I opted for spinach slice, which was actually delicious - sometimes spinach things can be a bit tasteless but this one was great! Friendly and helpful service.

Una panadería/pastelería de visita obligada en Valencia. Tienen muchas opciones veganas: cruasanes, susús, caracolas de chocolate, empanadillas de pisto, tartas… todo buenísimo y a unos precios muy económicos, por ejemplo el cruasán nos costó 0,90 céntimos y la tarta 12,90€. Además la chica que atiende es muy agradable.

Very nice lady who spoke little English but was still very chatty, pleasant and helpful. Showed me a vegan fridge of products, all very cheap and delicious! Slightly out the way of the city centre but definitely worth the visit.

We visited the los manchegos branch on Carrer de Jerónima Galés. It was small, just a counter with bread and pastries.

This is the most amazing bakery. There are a ton of vegan options, and the owner is incredibly kind and welcoming. These were by far the best vegan baked goods I’ve ever had, and the coffee was incredible as well. It’s also very cheap. We got a sizable breakfast and coffee for under €5. This place is a must-visit in Valencia. You will not be disappointed.

We cycled to get there and it was worth the trip! We were actually surprised how many vegan things were there!
Read moreFine selection of sweet and savory pastries! We had croissant with chocolate, pastry filled with yummy custard with a sort of caramel tasting top. And a sugar coated butterfly shaped cookie. Further a pastry filled with smoked bell peppers (yummy!) and one with spinach and one with tomato.
It all tasted yummy, but indeed might not be healthy and quite a lot of pastry of course ;)
The very friendly woman from the shop explained everything extensively in Spanish (which we do not speak, but it was still fairly clear ;). She also showed vegan (frozen) sausages and even chorizo! We have to try those another time though.
I would recommend going here if you like sweet and savory pastries!
Pros: Yummies pastries!, Worth da trip! :), Not expensive
Cons: This is not health food ;)

This nice bakery offers vegan croissants, seitan pastries, "veganised" traditional Valencian food. The staff speaks (a little bit) English and is really helpful in explaining the vegan options. The taste of the food is good, but a little too "unhealthy" in my opinion.
