Un sitio muy agradable, con comida rica - Edit
Este sitio es muy turístico, está lleno de extranjeros porque es también un hostel. Son muy amables y tienen bastantes opciones veganas. Pedimos hummus, una ensalada y unos tacos y sin duda lo que más nos gustó fueron los tacos. Además, organizan viajes a los puntos turísticos de los alrededores que están muy bien de precio.

El curry es delicioso, viene con harto pan, pero el arroz estaba duro. De igual manera estaba muy rico. Se llena y se demoran bastante en traer el pedido.

went on a very busy evening so maybe that was why we didn’t have a good experience and they were kind enough to seat us upstairs even though it wasn’t really open for that. but they seemed to forget about us and mistakenly gave us a margarita cocktail instead of a pizza so we have 3 drinks and one meal so that was an odd mistake and the food wasn’t very flavourful for me.

The best restaurant on the island - Edit
We came here twice in one day, and that's saying something. The hostel space is just really relaxing and inviting, it was a great place to have both lunch and dinner. The burger was tasty, and the wedges were amazing. The Thai curry was good, but the kombuchas were soooo good! The nachos were amazing, and the falafel was fine too. Would recommend.

We had a vegan bowl and salad. Both weren't tasty at all, even with the dressing.

The breakfast bowl was better. Hercules Bowl was super but the mango Buddha Bowl tasted weird.

Delicious curry and smoothie bowls - Edit
We ate here a few times to mix it up with our preferred restaurant Maracuyá. The curry was really good, pizza was topped with a lot of veggies (the 'salami' was good but it lacked cheese), and the smoothie bowls are really one of the few choices for breakfast. Serving sizes are really good too. Unfortunately, like Maracuyá, the burger buns contain milk, so you can't have the veggie burger if you're vegan 😐

Went here three times, as I was staying at Los Amigos hostel. They have a few vegan options available. The first time I had the Deleite Vegano which was a delicious bowl of rice with a bunch of vegetables. It was very good. The second time I got the Pachamama bowl, also very good. Great for a breakfast. The third time I had a Verde Tropical smoothie, a very delicious thick smoothie.

Many different dishes for vegetarians - Edit
It is a hostel but you can also eat there as a guest. You can pay by cardif you stay at the hostel but they will charge you an extra fee for it.
Read moreThey have a big menu and they labeled everything quite obviously if it is vegan/ vegetarian. Many vegetarian dishes could be veganised I guess by talking to the staff (most of them speak English as well) and adjusting small changes but I didn't ask for.
We had a vegan thai curry Interpretation (it was with cinnamon and platano) which was really good. The pita bread they serve with it was fresh/fresh rebaked. The curry had Carrots, Brokkoli, cowliflower and chickpeas in. All the veggis were cooked on point and not to soft/hard.
Also we ordered the vegetarian pizza (los amigos) in large. Again all the veggis were fresh tasty and they were not stingy with them.
The only negative thing is that the service seemed a little bit overwhelmed/ not working perfectly together. Even we made eye contact with variable waiters they didn't come to us, we had to directly adress them and ask for a menu. And then we just got one 🤣. Pretty much the same when we wanted to order more or to pay, we had to ask for everything twice with two different waiters. However, the atmosphere from the place is really nice and we had time so it didn't really bothered us.

Ate here three times the food is excellent and filling. I had the portobello burger. The vegan delight bowl and the jungle bowl they made the bowl special for me without banana. And the place is beautiful. Welcoming and friendly

Good option when in Flores - Edit
The restaurant at Los Amigos is closed on Mondays, but we went to Maracuyá with the exact same owner and menu. They have two dishes labeled as vegan on the menu. Those were really good! Originally we wanted to veganize their veggie burgers, but unfortunately the burger bun contains cow milk. As do all of their sweets.

Portobello Burger - Edit
I had a portobello burger at los amigoa and as well some fried rice with veggies and both were really good but the portobello was amazing! The fries are also great and if you are vegan you can just ask them to skip the mayonnaise :)

Yes it is more expensive than some other places on the island it's worth it if you need a full belly! Had the portobello mushroom burger (make sure to ask for no cheese or mayo!) And was really good! Added a side of fries which were also yuuuuummmmm! Very cute setting and live music! Had a few vegan smoothies and a brownie too!

Unforgettable tofu sandwich - Edit
I went there in 2016, but the tofu sandwich I remember to this day! And the vegan plate was really great too. The hostel is nice and comfy and I loved all the plants everywhere in the beautiful patio.

Had the veggie burrito minus the dairy: it was huge! Also got a vegan brownie to go. The hostel has a really pretty garden with a nice bar and restaurant! It’s definitely worth a visit if you are in Flores!

Amazing vegan options - Edit
This is the restaurant of the hostel but it’s open to the public. There are about 8 or more vegan options and drinks on the menu. Cash only but if you’re staying, they can put in on your room. Superb staff, amazing atmosphere, super chilled - lots of drinks deals and I had the tofu curry and it was divine and less than £5!
