Leckerer Burger aber wenig Alternativen

Auf der Karte als vegan ausgezeichnet gibt es eine Vorspeisensuppe (Möhre) und den Burger, wobei man das Curry durch Weglassen von Shrimps evtl. Auch vegan machen könnte. Burger ist lecker, aber richtig pappsatt ist man danach nicht. Kaffee gibt es mit Sojamilch.

Pros: Preis-Leistung ok, gut um mit Omnis essen zu gehen

Cons: Wenige vegane Optionen

Nothing particularly great here

This is not a place to go for a group of vegans but it might be nice if there are some people in your group who also want to eat non-vegan food. The vegan options are limited but quite tasty, even though they are way too expensive for what they are.

Sitting outside on a sunny day can be nice.

Not so good for vegans

I have been there many times and in general, I like the atmosphere, especially in summer when you can sit outside in one of the most idyllic places in Mainz. But I prefer to sit there and enjoy something to drink over their food.

The choices for vegans are limited. There are soups, a plain and boring salad, a vegan burger consisting of a bun, grilled vegetables and guacamole (no patty…), and usually another main dish. The last time I was there the vegan main dish from the menu wasn't available - we were told that they don’t do that anymore. We were only told so when we tried to order it and after already having received our drinks.

The food is OK but not outstanding. There are much more choices for vegetarians.

Pros: location, atmosphere

Cons: not many vegan choices, long waiting times

Cosy, relaxed, good food

Friendly and attentive staff that tries to fulfil special wishes
