Delicious!

The soy meat they used for their vegetarian options was really high quality! We both thought the tostadas were delicious. Everything was surprisingly cheap and perfect for a Mexican food craving. Definitely recommend stopping by in Fajardo!

Pros: Good quality meat alternatives, Cheap

Surprisingly good!

We stopped in to Lolita's after several of our other vegan options fell through, and were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant has your basic vegan/veg Mexican options, like guacamole and salsa, as well as soy meat. We had the soy tacos (vegan) and soy tostada (veg), along with guacamole and drinks. Everything was delicious, the wait staff were very accommodating, and it saved us from having to hunt down another restaurant.

Pros: great for groups, veggie-friendly

Cons: noisy, lots of meat

Good option

The veggie fajitas were good aside from the broccoli itself was obviously from frozen. TVP fajitas were a generous portion (better than the veg) and while it was not too flavorful, it did the job. The chips and Pico I highly recommend, though. I agree with others that the guac was bland and a bit watery, if thats possible. Awesome friendly staff with quick service. No free refills on pop, heads up.

We had a great lunch here!

They made veggie burritos for us - and they were delicious! Not a lot of vegan choices but the servers are great (and speak English!) and had lots of suggestions.

Pros: Delicious, fresh food , Nice staff

Cons: Not many vegan options , No outside seating

Practical place to stop

This restaurant is a practical place between, say, Fajardo Bay and San Juan. There are a few vegan options, which are all basically the same thing (swapping meat for TVP). The portions are a good size. The staff is super friendly. On the other hand, the restaurant was so hopping that we had to wait in line outside. It’s also rather pricey.

Pros: Practical location, Good food (more for vegetarians), Friendly staff

Cons: Busy (and noisy) restaurant , Pricey, Un-varied vegan options

Basic, tasty Mexican food

A handful of vegetarian options - the standard choices at most Mexican places, plus a soy protein. I appreciated the options. Quality of food and service were good. Would eat here again.

Pros: Options

Cons: Parking is tight and confusing

You can do better at Taco Bell

I hate leaving bad reviews, but this place was very disappointing. My husband ordered the nachos vegan, which after the cheese was removed, consisted only of very thin layers of refried beans and watery guacamole. I ordered a soy burrito with red sauce, and it had little flavor. The food is fairly inexpensive, but not a good value considering you can do better veganizing items at Taco Bell.

One extra star for having items that are specifically vegan, and very nice staff. The service was very, very fast and we got our food about 8 minutes after ordering, but I would have been willing to wait longer for better food.

Your navigation program might direct you to the back of the building, but customer parking is in front of the building, right off of the main road (Hwy 3).

Pros: Inexpensive, Extremely fast and friendly service, Offers soy meat

Cons: Poor food quality

5 stars!!

I’m vegan so I ordered the soya meat fajitas without cheese and without sour cream... THEY WERE PHENOMENAL!! The refried beans were the best I’ve ever had. If you’re around Lolita’s you have to stop and try it!

Really Tasty, Warm Service, Great Margaritas!

We joined a group of our coworkers for dinner and were pleasantly surprised.

The service was very warm and our waitress spoke perfect English. The soy meat was really tasty. I got a burrito with beans, rice, soy meat, and guac. The size was huge and I couldn't even finish it.

The pico de gallo was also really good and fresh as well as the margaritas that they make from scratch.

Really great option for veggies who want Mexican food or need a place that caters to multiple diets.

Pros: soy Meat , margaritas are homemade

Must Go - And they speak English

I got take out here twice during my trip to Puerto Rico, the veg friendly places feel few and far between.

The description says they only speak Spanish but the two people I spoke with knew at least some English.

soy meat, really!

On our way from El Yunque to Fajardo we stopped at Lolita's. They have soy meat burritos, tacos, etc. It was great. Being from Northern California, i am used to good Mexican food, so i was a little skeptical. Hey...this is good stuff! It was good to have this choice in this part of Puerto Rico.

Pros: soy meat, flavorful, easy to get to
