Adequate pub food - Edit
Great to have vegan options out in the countryside. I had the vegan halloumi burger and my bf had the veg curry. The burger was a bit plain, just battered Violife with a tomato and lettuce. Was nice but nothing special. The curry lacked flavour - vegetables boiled with varying success and sauce added on top. Was an alright experience in general just way too expensive for the average grub.

Limited but lovely options - Edit
Only 4 vegetarian options on an otherwise big menu but they’re good options, two of them are specifically vegan and the burger can be made vegan. Normally when something is “vegan option” it means that they just take the dairy ingredients out but in this case the grilled halloumi and BBQ pulled aubergine burger can be substituted with vegan halloumi - it was delicious! They also have a proper vegan dessert that isn’t either fruit salad or sorbet (dark chocolate tart with berry compote). All in all, we had a great meal and were well looked after by the lovely staff.
