Could taste the mint from their other flavor - Edit
The scooped ice cream has so much potential and I’ll go so far as to say I’m sure it’s wonderful. I myself cannot stand the taste of mint in anything - not in ice cream, not in my alcoholic beverages, not in anything. So please take this into account when you read my review. They must store the vegan ice cream right next to their dairy-based mint chocolate chip ice cream tub in the cooler with all open lids because the vegan chocolate cheesecake ice cream tasted straight up like mint and I wanted to cry. They even offered to re-scoop it for me but thankfully made me taste test the new bowl before they scooped the entire cup. Again, the new scoop tasted just like mint. If this doesn’t bother you, this ice cream is great! But I’m hyper sensitive to it and was even worried about cross-contamination from their scooper but the super nice gentleman used a new scooper on the second go around. He was so nice and patient with me. I really appreciated it. I would definitely send others and tell them to give this adorable place a try but idk if I can honestly go back. Chocolate cheesecake just tastes terrible when mint is added😡
