Bad options - Edit
They don’t even offer plant milk for their coffee. Sunday brunch has zero options for vegans and they will not accommodate.

Good for vegetarians, limited for vegans. - Edit
Nice cafe—better for vegetarians than vegans. Staff was great and helpful, but the kitchen was out of multiple vegan items for my dish.

Delicious! - Edit
I have been here several times and it seems their options have increased. There are several vegetarian options that can be altered to accommodate vegans. Additionally, they offer the Impossible burger, veganaise, and vegan cheese. All sandwiches come with coleslaw but a quick substitution of a side salad solves that. Beware the fries are battered and use dairy.

Cons: Can not eat the fries

Pretty good option for Vegan - Edit
There was only one vegan option in this restaurant but it was still pretty good all things considered. I had the coconut curry tempeh. It was a huge serving and enough for a second meal.

We actually have lots of vegan options including vegan cheese and vegenaise for sandwiches. Soups and salads. At dinner we have a tempeh and veg curry. Lunch we have several sandwich options including grilled eggplant, avocado, and veggie burgers. Maybe you were at a different restaurant?

No vegan options! - Edit
They had no vegan options other than the eggplant Parmesan with no Parmesan and no breading. The eggplant was very hard and all I got was noodles with spaghetti sauce for $15.

No marked vegetarian/vegan options, staff not aware of options - Edit
My experience does not seem to match that of others, but we went here because of the reviews that implied they had vegan options. The menu did not list anything as vegetarian or vegan, and when I asked the waitress, she did not know but just said, "we could make the spaghetti and meatballs with just the red sauce" We ended up going to a different place. They do have a good location (hence two stars, not one). If you try it, I advise being prepared to possibly wait if it's a busy time.

Ordered chips and salsa for an appetizer- the salsa was amazing!!!!
Read moreGot an impossible burger with caramelized onions and avocado, tasted great! Their BBQ sauce was absolutely delicious.
They were out of the vegan cheese when I went unfortunately. Saw that they have a veganaise option to add to any burger, so that was cool to see (:
The onion straws were really good- highly recommend.
Staff was friendly as could be. Great experience here.
Serves meat & dairy as well as vegan options

Wonderful Food, Friendly Staff, Quick Service - Edit
An impressive meal with a moderate price point.
Read moreThe staff here was very friendly, casual, and helpful.
There is a vegetarian section of the menu and a few vegetarian sides and salads. We got lots: a veggie reuben, grilled eggplant sandwich, sesame-encrusted goat cheese salad, pear pistou salad, fries, and onion straws.
There was nothing special about the reuben (although it is notable that it was lightly oiled and not dripping with grease, as many reubens are) or fries, but I enjoyed everything I ate, especially the salad. The arugula and lettuce were fresh and crisp, the balsamic and olive oil were subtle and well balanced, and the sesame-encrusted goat cheese was a beautiful, rich, yet still light way to round out the dish.
The onion straws had a surprisingly light batter, in which celery salt added a unique and enjoyable taste. The sweet onions were finely sliced. The whole dish was very nice.
They made it easy for us to leave an unwanted ingredient out of a dish, and they delivered a flawless meal in about 10 minutes. They were polite, amiable, and welcoming, and their COVID protocols made us feel safe and comfortable waiting inside instead of outside in the rain.
Their to-go packaging was tin trays with plastic lids, and they gave us an incredible amount of ketchup, a perfect number of napkins, and they asked how many sets of utensils we wanted.
I’ll look forward to visiting Eureka Springs—and Local Flavor Café—again after the pandemic is over!
Pros: Lots of vegetarian options, Friendly staff, Quick service

Impossible - Edit
I ordered the impossibly burger because you can’t go wrong with that. They have violife vegan cheese and offer a vegan bun, but the bun isn’t gluten free so if you’re intolerant like me, opt for the no bun option.

The food is decent (oily) but it takes sooooo long to get it. The bread is really good. The bread is worth it.

I would eat here again - Edit
They did not have a lot of options but my wife and I had the Grilled Eggplant with red bell pepper and arugula on sourdough with Veganaise and it was delicious! Our son had an Avocado sandwich that was made to be vegan which he completely devoured. The Grilled Portobello was also calling my name.

Vegans Beware - Edit
Don't be fooled, the veggie patties contain cheese. Though they do have a vegetarian section, it isn't easily made vegan unless you love portobello caps.

Perfect summertime lunch - Edit
Vast lunch menu--appetizers, salads, sandwiches, entrees. Fruit vinaigrette dressing was wonderful. Everything was very fresh and came out unbelievably quickly. Mango and red salsa were both delicious. Black bean patty has cheese, so more suitable for vegetarian than vegan, but still a great place to go for either. Friendly and accommodating service. Outdoor and indoor seating available. Great location when walking through main strip of Eureka Springs.
