Superb

The staff member who waited on us was very welcoming and kind. He even recommended that we sit towards the back where it would be cooler on a hot day.

My mom and I ordered a salad, an okonomiyaki pizza, and an almond tea (normally NT$110 but only NT$50 on weekdays with an entree). By flashing my Plants Fan VIP card, I was given a complimentary crème brûlée. I guess I was also given a small cup of apple vinegar, perhaps to go with my pizza. The salad was hearty and didn’t use iceberg lettuce, and the pizza was generously topped with dried seaweed and wasabi mayo. We both loved the crème brûlée and wish there were more! The staff also recommended that I get the almond tea with oat milk for a thicker texture at no added cost. How sweet!

This is the largest location of the chain that I’ve been to. They also sell their own coffee beans and single-serving bags here. I ended up getting a box of reusable face masks from the market area (NT$510 for six).

I highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for an all-vegan restaurant or cafe at which to enjoy a delightful meal. Both of the tables in the back had power outlets conveniently located next to them just above table height, so I could see working there for an afternoon being a pleasant experience.

Pros: tasty, all-vegan menu, good place to work, friendly staff

Cons: doesn’t open until 11:30
