Omg! So good - Edit
My husband and I stopped here after attending the Charlotte VegFest and I’m so glad we did. The food is amazingly fresh and delicious. We got the Sweet Potato Sushi Roll (avocado, red bell pepper, cucumber, arrivals, sweet potato, cashew rice, nori, and spicy Thai chili sauce) and the Broccoli Mushroom Pizza (raw buckwheat and flax seed crust, cashew ricotta cheese, Thai marinated broccoli, oyster mushrooms, sliced cherry tomatoes and Brazil nut Parmesan. Both were incredibly delicious and filing.

Beyond good .. i feel like some places go too basic and some go too complicated and Living Kitchen strikes the right harmony. I didnt know what i was in the mood for and got the burrito. Sushi role. Sliders and cheesecake. Soooo happy i went!

Went here with my sister and had a wonderful time although we did spend quite a bit of money. I got the living bagel which was good and a lavender cappuccino which was just okay. i also got their carrot cake which was really good. super recommend getting some of their candied nuts to go, so delectable!

My favourite - Edit
The best vegan restaurant! All the dishes are so so good! And the desserts! I don’t have words to describe how yummy everything is here. I wish I could eat here every day. But that would be way too expensive. Salads about $15, latte $6, cake $10.
Read moreMy favourite salads are Kale and Broccoli salads. Also their chia pudding is amazing! And I love their Raspberry Cheesecake but was not a fan of Dolce cake. Tasted like brownie that I did not expect (was not moist or anything unique).
Pros: So delicious, Friendly staff , Plant based
Cons: Expensive , Disliked their coffee

Food was okay, but the prices don't make up for it. I had the "BLT" and it was too spicy for my liking.

Good, but could've been better! - Edit
This place is not just vegan, it's also gluten free and soy free. The BBQ sliders were odd-tasting, I couldn't even finish them because of the weird after taste. They made them with mushrooms - I don't know why they don't just use jackfruit! The burger was pretty good but not outstanding and the sweet potato sushi was also just OK in my opinion. Also I just didn't feel like much on their brunch menu jumped out at me. Usually at all-vegan places I want to sample as many items as I can. This place didn't have me that interested. I love that it's 100% plant based but I wouldn't go again, just wasn't tasty enough.

Very cute location - new menu in May 2018 has a great selection of options. The cheese board was to die for!! We also like the Kale Caesar, Pad Thai, BLT, and living burrito.

Nice entrees, watch for hot v cold - Edit
Many lovely refreshing entree options. I love the rawco taco salad, "tuna" salad sandwich best. I've been repeatedly let down by the desserts, often still rather frozen when I order them. The seasonal pea soup is delicious, lovely interior. A bit bourgeois. Drinks have been so so, the homemade Chai is a bit thin for my taste.

DELICIOUS! - Edit
I am SO sad that there is nothing like this near where we live because it would be so much easier to eat healthfully when dining out. Honestly, this restaurant has made my Charlotte trip. Not only was the food delicious (really incredible) and service super friendly, but they had ample seating for our large family of 8.

Thank you happy cow! Visiting Charlotte for business and what a treat to find this awesome vegan restaurant (mostly raw). I had cup of peanut thai soup, tomatico torte and turtle cake (to go). The food was amazing, the staff friendly, knowledgable and offered very pleasing suggestions. Try it, you will love it!

I want to like this place - Edit
...but it’s prices reflects the rent, not the quality of the menu. The menu appears fancy and thorough, but their dishes are way too small for the price. They also are kind of disappointing... mushroom bbq sliders for 11? Two small mushy sliders- jackfruit is the optimal pulled pork replacement y’all. Tuna salad sandwich? Sprouts, tomatoes and nut chunk mayo sandwich. And a very very small portion at that. The location is beautiful, the food is tasty, and the service is great... but the product is lacking. Vegan food should be nourishing and filling, not $1 a calorie.
Read morePros: big menu , location, local alcohol
Cons: pricey, portions are not vegan caloric-need friendly, food could be better honestly

Fresh & Delicious! - Edit
Beautiful menu with many options. I had the BLT with a side Kale Caesar salad and it was fantastic. The kombucha beer was delicious too. It’s pricey though which is why I only gave 4 stars. If they were a little more affordable I feel like they would be accessible to more people.

I absolutely adore everything - Edit
This is my favorite restaurant in the Queen City. From walking in to a modern, crisp airy space to the artfully presented mostly raw/organic food, I just adore this restaurant. It’s a little slice of heaven and everything I’ve had here has been amazing. They have outdoor seating which is great in the warmer months. In doors is a bit cold over the summer so the patio is the place to be. Great staff, especially Joe. Beautiful juices and hot beverages (especially the golden milk) don’t disappoint. A bit pricey but totally worth it.

great vegan restaurant - Edit
I love the cool vibe of the place. Our waitress was nice and helpful. My husband ordered a burger and loved it. I got the manicotti that was good but couldn't eat much. It was cold so it kind of put me off. Love the hemp dressing. It's for sale at the restaurant. We will be back.

Outstanding Experience - Edit
My family and I had a perfect meal! Food was excellent and atmosphere was lovely and inviting. We had the Mock Tuna Salad Sandwich with Broccoli Waldorf, Fire And Brimstone burger with Cauliflower Rice, Lunasagna with Local Green Salad, and an Avacado and Basil sandwich with a Beet Salad, and everything was prepared to perfection! Only complaints were the dressing on the salad, which I believe was hemp, was very overpowering and none of us enjoyed it, and their table top planetariums hadn't been watered to the plants were dead, but the food and service was exceptional and we will be returning. I recommend this to all!

Beautiful food and restaurant - Edit
I usually don't recommend taking non-vegan family here for their first vegan experience if they aren't used to eating healthy food. Seriously, the fresh, veg-forward menu could turn them off if they order the wrong thing. On the other hand, it could win them over, because they do such a good job.
Read moreThey don't advertise themselves as vegan and you'll be hard pressed to find vegan listed anywhere on the menu or restaurant, but no worries.
My favorite, the Rawco Taco is sure to please. It has so many good flavors and a delicious hot sauce. They also have outdoor seating if the weather is nice.
Pros: Totally vegan (except for a wine or two), Beautiful Space and patio, Healthy
Cons: A little pricey, might leave hungry

A love story... - Edit
Charlotte is one of my favorite cities, so when I moved to the west coast.. I had to also leave Luna's.
Read moreI have been a handful of times to this location and can say without a shadow of a doubt that Luna's is in my top three favorite vegan restaurants of all time.
Fun memory: I brought my mom here last year, I wasn't sure if she would be a fangirl like me. However after taking her first bite we came to a complete silence and didn't talk until we were done scarfing down our delicious meals. She loved the avocado & basil sandwich!
Favorite items: Mock tuna salad sandwich on a collard wrap. Fresh made ginger ale. Cookies & milk for dessert. There are too many items to just choose one.
They just opened a location in Raleigh. Of course right after we moved away, ha-ha.
Pros: Menu filled with endless options, Friendly staff, Beautiful location
