Oof - Edit
Maybe if you’ve never eaten comfort food outside of this area it could pass as good, but honestly it’s pretty bad. The mac is very bland other than some hint of spiciness, that’s it. The real offender here is the collards. It’s mostly red kale and ours was still very raw and not steamed and extremely salty with a mix of salt and vinegar. To the point of not being edible. Now maybe all of this was just one off night perhaps, but from our personal experience alone, we would not return. However, the ribs were great and I wish I just had 3 helpings of those instead.

This is definitely an uncommon reaction to our food. We just got rid of an employee that couldn't keep up to our standards. Maybe you had a dish he plated.

I am sorry this was your experience with our food for the first time. We have many other varieties of dishes that may fit more to your taste buds as well.

Holy wowza - Edit
Eat here. Right now. Do it. You won't regret it. I struggled, looking at the menu, with what to order. I finally settled on the BBQ Mac Bowl. The guy told me it's their most popular option and yeah, I can see why! Holy moly, it was next level. I was disappointed at first to see a small container but they LOADED that thing to the top. It was way more food than I could finish in one sitting (hello, leftovers!) and the BBQ tempeh was honestly so freaking good I can't stop thinking about it. I wish I could try everything on the menu. I was only in Bend for the weekend, but I will be back for more!
Read moreThe overall vibe/atmosphere of this cart pod was also excellent. Great drinks on tap, and they were playing some 90s/2000s throwback tunes. Super fun!!

I had the bbq ribs and mac & cheese. Both were excellent. Meat eating hubby loved the bbq ribs (“no offense dear but this seitan is much better than yours”)!

Awesome vegan food cart spot - Edit
This is an all-vegan food cart in a great pod spot in Bend. They make almost everything from scratch and are super friendly, mostly burritos and bowls with a bbq flavor or style. My breakfast burrito was massive and terrific and my wife loved her BLT burrito. They had the crispiest vegan bacon we'd ever had. Our omni friends liked their food too. Their online ordering system doesn't seem to work but we had no trouble at the cart. I'll definitely hit them up again. The whole pod is great, with plenty of covered seating, misters for hot days, and a tap house.

Great Find! - Edit
Buffalo ranch burrito was exceptional, the St Louis style ribs were a pleasant surprise as its difficult to get exact seitan/jackfruit combination to hit the mark. They hit the mark and the sauce as well was a delight! The Milkshakes were also very good, and the only item I might not highlight as exceptional would be the MacNCheese, which was nutritional yeasty, which I know some love, but as a preference we prefer the thick creamy cheese texture that cashews provide.
Read morePros: VERY friendly staff, Exceptional flavor profiles, Great texture work on substitutes

We actually do make our mac sauce from cashews, so I'm not sure why you didn't notice the creaminess! Thanks for the great review :)

Unique vegan BBQ meats and great service - Edit
Love this spot - everyone is always so nice, and the BBQ meats are unlike anything I’ve ever had anywhere else before, in a good way. Also, the shakes are delicious and I haven’t had a shake since I went vegan so it’s nice to get a good treat! What’s recommended? Anything, can’t go wrong at this place. Also you know it’s good because on a busy Friday or Saturday night, they’ve got probably the most steady stream of people ordering of any of the trucks, it’s no secret how delicious it is.

The best “ribz”! - Edit
I am lucky enough to be in walking distance of this food truck. My fave so far is the BBQ Mac n Cheese bowl. The BLT was bomb but a little pricy. The milkshakes are awesome. I was not a fan of the baked beans (too dry) or greens(too much vinegar). Everything else has been exceptional.

So happy to have found this place! De - Edit
The best vegan Bend has to offer imo. So bummed I don’t live here anymore, but will happily support them every time I visit. I got the ribs, the bbq Mac and the breakfast burrito. Yum! My kids loved it too.
Read moreThe only con I can think of is the potatoes in the breakfast burrito were slightly undercooked and unseasoned with no crispiness to them. Otherwise, delicious! A must try.

So much yum! - Edit
100% vegan food truck set in a comfortable food-truck-court attached to the Midtown Yacht Club (aka a tap house with other drinks too.) I got the BLT with added avocado and subbed out the chips for breakfast potatoes. The bacon was crispy, the sourdough was toasted and sour, the tomatoes were juicy, the potatoes were perfect. I have so much love for this cart I just discovered!

I agree with the other reviewers that the vegan “ribs” are some of the best out there. I’ve had about half of the menu across multiple visits and have a hard time picking what to eat because everything is so good. Highly recommend!

This place is amazing! If you are looking for some vegan comfort food this is the place to go. My personal favorite is the buffalo chicken burrito with mac and cheese. There is seriously nothing better! I’ve also tried the McLovin which is a vegan version of an egg McMuffin. So delicious!! I love this place, the owners are so nice and friendly and the menu is amazing. A must try! You will not be disappointed.

Amazing, instant gratification food experience, catered by two of the sweetest souls around. Their mouthwatering BLT is the tastiest and most realistic ever, genius level homemade jackfruit+seitan sticky ribs, the whole menu is incredible. The coffee alone would keep me coming back. Huge love and gratitude to them :)

Huge Portions of Vegan Comfort Food For a Fair Price! - Edit
WOW! The portions are HUGE and fresh and delicious and I just cant say enough about this place! I got the Buffalo Chik'n Burrito and it was, no joke, the size of my head. For $9 that's hard to beat in Bend! Not to mention it was damn good! The Mac N Cheez is a little on the sweet side which goes great with their selection of hot sauces(Tabasco, habanero and cholula) in their window. I tried my friend's BBQ pulled jackfruit burrito(Warning: Not a first date food) with mac n cheez inside and it taste like a bomb bowl of chili in a soft flour tortilla with happy little cronches of slaw. All in all it was delish and I will be back for sure!

Great new all vegan option in Bend - Edit
Found Lively Up Yourself on Instagram, finally made it by on this Saturday morning for couple of breakfast burritos. Super nice owners, big ass vegan burritos for a wonderful breakfast.
Read moreIn the alley between Hill St & Irving St. Close to downtown. Look for the intersection of Hill/Irving and you're really close, some Bend streets in the old downtown are a bit weird, they turn, change names, etc. It's behind the, "Historic Bunk & Brew Lucas House." If you're visiting Bend, park in the downtown garage and walk a few blocks east on Irving, you'll find it, you'll love it.
More great vegan options, more great Bend people. Vegan BBQ ribs are up next for lunch.

Love the Seitan and Jackfruit BBQ Ribs! - Edit
Got the BBQ plate and absolutely loved the ribs. Everything was amazing but the ribs were a show stopper. Loved how they were Seitan AND jackfruit. It added so much texture. So tasty. Everything is vegan and plant based, and the food is amazing. Can’t wait to try more of their dishes, especially their daily and weekend specials. Also... if I could buy bottles of their ranch dressing I totally would. It’s way better than the real dairy stuff!

I ordered the buffalo ranch burrito and it was delicious! They have bbq options as well as smoothies. I want to try everything on the menu but at the same time I want to go back asap to get another one of those burritos. I’m so excited to see more vegan options in Bend, and this food-cart is also able to accommodate gluten free folks as well. Definitely stop by and give them some love if you want some yummy vegan food.
