A Manchester classic - Edit
An absolute classic. Great vegan options, I usually get the vegan duck pancakes or any of the bean curd option. The curry sauce is also vegan for dipping your salt and pepper chips! Obviously not the most healthy dinner going but definitely the best for vegan Chinese in Manchester. Can get takeout too.

Okay , used to be better - Edit
Ate here last night and ordered dim sum and a main. The salt and pepper chips were pretty basic oven chips and not fresh.
Read moreMy main, I think, had some meat in it 🤮
Been here many times before and they must have a new chef because it felt pretty basic.
Pros: Vegetarian menu clearly labeled, Lots of options
Cons: Very expensive , Meat in veggie dish, Basic food

Yummy - Edit
Every vegan place I’ve found in this area in the last two days has been fast food. This restaurant unfortunately serves meat but has the best “proper” vegan food I’ve come across.
Read moreEdited: We were in Manchester for four nights and ended up eating here for the last three. Everything was delicious. (Best accompanied by a pot of jasmine tea.) I prefer to give my business to vegan and vegetarian establishments but found nothing in the area offering a sit-down vegan meal.

Better elsewhere - Edit
Wouldn’t recommend. Overpriced, food didn’t taste great (can get better offerings elsewhere in Manchester). One of the wait staff were also by the far rudest I’ve ever experienced. Felt quite confused by the experience there and spent most of the time trying to figure out if we offended the waitress somehow. Happy to give benefit of the doubt to anyone in hospitality, but this experience was beyond that and frankly made me uncomfortable.

Amazing food! - Edit
One of my favourite restaurants in Manchester, if not full stop! The vegetarian crispy chilli beef is amazing, as is the seaweed and the salt and pepper tofu! Highly recommend!

Not impressed - Edit
Very traditional Chinese restaurant with a large vegetarian menu (I think mostly vegan). The food was alright but very basic. I was not impressed at all. Even though we were being served by five different people, they still couldn’t get our order right and we had to wait a long time. I would even choose the local Wagamama over this place, next time I want Chinese / Asian food in MCR.

Best Chinese I've ever had. - Edit
Nearly everything on the vegetarian menu is vegan except for a few items which they have listed on a green card provided if asked. The good was super fast and delicious. Best Chinese I've had and not much fake meat either. Everything perfectly cooked. Service impeccable.

Very tasty authentic flavours - Edit
I have to admit Little Yang Sing is on the pricier side, but their dishes pack a lot of flavour so it does feel worth it.
Read moreWe have to get the vegan duck wraps every time we go (seitan based, gorgeous texture).
My partner rates their sweet and sour dishes, but my favourite is the black bean tofu.

Expensive and nothing special - Edit
Was excited to try this one, but it disappointed. The food was all fine, but nothing much better than most takeaways I’ve had… just a lot more expensive.

This place offers a lot of vegetarian options, lots of which are vegan too. They'll give you a list which says which aren't on request! The food tastes authentic, the atmosphere is nice, it's not the cheapest though.

Great vegetarian selection - Edit
It's hard to find Chinese restaurants with more than a few veggie options but this one was a big surprise. 5 or 6 veggie options for each course, friendly staff and a large dining room. Some post meal msg thirst but a definite for a revisit

Amazing - Edit
Nice restaurant, friendly staff and an enormous list of vegan options. In the back of the menu, there's 3 pages of vegetarian dishes, I asked what was vegan out of them and it was all but 2. At least 30 choices of food as a vegan
