Stylish cafe with quintessential Ottawa view

Trendy coffee shop in downtown Ottawa with plant milk options and about 4 treat options (think seed bars). Cute inside with nice patio seating outside across the street from Confederation square. Views of East Block, Chateau Laurier and Senate.

Not my favourite spot for coffee/treats but nice for the views. Great spot for tourists.

Hip cafe

Cute place with plant milks and a couple of vegan treats. Their oatmeal cookies are pretty good.

The cafe is really spacious and in a great location.

Great atmosphere

Really cute coffee shop with a great atmosphere. They no longer have the SuzyQ doughnuts to offer but they have plant milks to choose from and always have 1-2 vegan baked good option.

Much better than Starbucks

The plant milk options are macadamia and oat milk. They no longer serve SuzyQ donuts, since they now have their own baker. They didn't have any baked goods when we stopped by, but the server said there is usually at least one vegan item, which may be a cookie. Overall, I'd rather come here than go to Starbucks, where, earlier today, after ordering two decafs with soymilk and two everything bagels (the only vegan food item at Starbucks), I was disappointed to find four packages of cow butter that I had not ordered.

cozy modern cafe

Plant-milk options include oat, almond and coconut (and maybe some more, but no soy milk). Coffee was very tasty and well-balanced. Doughnuts are from SuzyQ, at the time off my visit with two vegan options, one of which was chocolate and very very soft-not-too-sweet-tasty.
