Lovely - Edit
Very welcoming vibes and I love that they don't overcharge items for being vegan. Menu is neatly labeled with a vegan section. Sometimes there's live music. It's always a nice treat here.

Great options, fun atmosphere! - Edit
Little Market Cafe is one of my favorite go-to breakfast options in Ellicott City! They have dedicated vegan & vegetarian menu sections, including some really good breakfast sandwiches. Most of their vegan options include meat, egg, or cheese replacements, which is great if you're into that! They have live music about once a week, especially during summers, and some nice outdoor seating.
Read moreOnly a few small criticisms-- the lemonades aren't as good as I wanted them to be (but there are lots of fun flavors) and I wish they had a few more options that were more vegetable-forward rather than meat/egg/cheese replacements.
Pros: Good food, Good vibes

Breakfast oasis - Edit
LMC has a dedicated vegan menu for both bf and lunch with about 5 items each. They use Justegg, impossible products, tofurkey products, and Chao cheese. They have vegan cream cheese as well. Staff is knowledgeable and will warn you when you are mixing vegan and non vegan items. In 2020 they moved to completely outdoor seating. On good weather days, it can be extremely busy. On bad weather days, I eat in my car. Park in lot D.
Read morePros: Multiple options, Menu clarity, Pretty courtyard
Cons: Everything is very processed, No fruit/veggies, Chaotic food pickup when it is busy

If I could give 5 stars I would. This platform doesn’t allow it. Sandwiches so delicious I make sounds of enjoyment out loud while I eat! Love coming in - always welcomed like a friend. I highly recommend you make Little Market Cafe a regular stop!

Amazing and Plentiful Vegan Options! Plus Delicious Drinks! - Edit
They have many different vegan sandwiches for breakfast and lunch. Their bagels are vegan and they offer cashew cream cheese. I got the Merryman St. sandwich with everything bagel, cashew cream cheese and Gardein sausage. Also got everything bagel with cashew cream cheese, tomatoes, onion, avocado and spinach. Both were delicious! Also got the Dirty Chai, cinnamon spiced, made with oat milk.
Read moreSoo good! I love this place and will be back often. It’s right in Old Ellicott City, in a quaint, lovely setting next to the river. Great place to sit outside in warmer weather.
Thank youuuu!
Pros: Lots of vegan options for a good price , Amazing drinks with 3 types of non-dairy milks , Right in Old Ellicott City, cute setting

Ps - found out their Chai mix and most mixes are not dairy-free. But you can still get pretty much any latte flavor etc.

Better and better - Edit
I absolutely love this little cafe. Their menu has gotten MUCH more vegan friendly! They created an entire vegan menu for the month of November that has extended to December. I’ve gotten the Vegan bagel sandwich with JUST egg and bacun, so delicious! They have sandwiches and a blueberry cobbler as well. Of course their coffee has been and still is, fantastic.
Read morePros: New vegan bagel and sandwich options, Vegan cobbler now available
Cons: Can get crowded inside, Limited seats

Confusing... - Edit
The "vegan" sandwiches are served on non-vegan ciabatta bread. The menu, setting, and general ambiance are great, but this sandwich situation makes no sense.

Hi. Just wanted to clarify that the ciabatta bread is vegan. Only certain types of ciabatta are made with dairy. The only 2 breads we offer at the cafe that are not vegan is our Polish Bialy and Asiago cheese bagel. Cheers!

Hidden Gem! - Edit
If non-vegetarian restaurants could get 5 stars, Little French Market would have it! They're offering incredible support for the vegan community tucked away in Ellicott City.
Read moreThis place is truly a hidden gem. I wandered in with some co-workers thinking I'd be pressed to find something vegan. Lo and behold, they have a designated "plant based menu" section of the specialty sandwiches that stands out against their regular menu. On top of that, they have vegan breakfast sandwiches which they serve all day.
I ordered the "Frederick Road" sandwich, which included: peppered Tofurkey, cayenne Chao cheese, chipotle Just Mayo, banana peppers, spring greens, and tomato on toasted ciabatta! It was amazing!
Pros: Variety of vegan options, clearly labeled, Well prepared food, Cute and cozy
