Very nice people. Good choices and vegan options for cheese , for instance. I had wild mushrooms on sourdough with confit leek and a nutty base. It was delicious.

Every time I come to Hobart, this is on the visit list! I highly recommend the kimchi corn fritters or the hotcakes if you want something sweet.

Great the hours have changed - Edit
Updated the hours as shown as jot open on Sundays, so that was lucky cause there not allot of options on a Sunday morning.
Read moreVery good coffee as long black, only do Regular size as largest serve, not cheap but that seems to be a Tasmanian norm.
Scrambled Stunner very good, polenta crunchy on outside and soft in middle, tofu scramble was best we’ve ever had.
Okonomiyaki Corn Fritters very good, presentation was excellent, I think maybe I would like the cashew cheese on the side instead of smeared on top of the top fritter but personal choice.
Nourishing plate was also very good, we added avocado, black rise was clumped a bit like sticky rice which I really like so the whole bowl was really good.
Sourdough English Muffins were ok, no photo as the youngun had an egg with it. However the tempeh was pretty thick and not such an authentic bacon type sub, he wasn’t impressed but he isn’t impressed about being plant based in general.😒Not something we would order next time.
Orange chai with oat milk was good, coffee excellent, soy latte good and banana power puff very good.
Nice atmosphere, lovely staff, tucked off the main drag, right next to multi story car parking.
Pros: Nearly everything can be vegan, Mostly Gluten Free, Central location
Cons: It’s not local to me in Sydney

Pretty good - Edit
Definitely an interesting menu and pretty good taste overall, but some stuff needed more flavor, whereas I'd definitely tone down the turmeric on the scrambled tofu. Some portions seem a bit small for the price, life the English muffin, but the tempeh definitely surprised me for the better, very smoky and reminded me of grilled mushroom.

Great place to meet friends - Edit
This cafe has changed ownership since opening - still vegetarian with high vegan menu options, the menu now has a modern Asian influence, the menu is not as interesting or extensive as when it opened and not updated much, and servings are not as generous as previous owners. It’s still a good place to eat but no longer has alot on the menu that I love so much I want to eat there weekly as it did before. Coffees etc are great quality (but some drink options are now overpriced). Still a great place to go on occasion with a group or meet a friend ❤️

Love this place - Edit
When I want to have a good morning brekky, I tend to hit this place up as a first choice. Hobart businesses seem tricky with their operating hours, being that if you work near, you'll manage to visit, buy after basic daytime hours - missed out!
