Plenty vegan options

Best chips ever and I love the cauliflower bites they even had banana blossom fish so lots of vegan soya free choices unlike No Catch which is soya stuff only apart from the chips.

Pros: Vega options , Soya free options, Great chips

Cons: Very busy in summer, Can’t eat in, Not enough outside seating

3.5/5 - Very tasty but small tofish

We came here on Pride so they had a reduced menu with 2 vegan options – Jackfruit Scampi & Chips and No Fish & Chips. We went for one of each. The jackfruit scampi was really good – very flavoursome and a decently sized portion. The tofu-based ‘No Fish’ was also very tasty – lovely crispy batter with tender tofu inside. However, it was a very small piece and really not worth the extra £5.50 it cost vs just chips. The chips were also very good - fresh and crispy with a good sized portion.

Pros: Tasty chips, Tasty fish subs

Cons: Small tofish portion

Fish and chips for vegans & non-vegans, brilliant!

A real taste of the classic British meal, fish and chips but without any animal harm. I had the no-fish and chips and it was great! The chips were perfect and the no-fish (tofu wrapped in nori sheet and fried) was delicious, curry sauce was incredible and mushy peas were nice but felt like they lacked salt.

(My friend took the real fish and said it was tasty.)

I think it’s brilliant that they offer both vegan and non-vegan options, which was perfect as I was travelling with a non-vegan; it felt good that we could both eat without either of our dietary choices being excluded.
