Serves house made plant-based sushi, in addition to a small selection of rolls, bowls and other sushi items, such as mock duck rice/bowl, smoked tofu rice/bowl, garlicky sweet potato rice/bowl, a sesame seasoned seaweed salad, inari pockets and edamame. (Please note: Has no lift/elevator, or aided access to the first floor (second floor US English) only a set of stairs, meaning it may not be suitable for people with mobility issues. Open Wed-Sat 11:00-17:00. Can close intermittently for events.

Worth the wait - Edit
This place is tucked away in the Gallery, but if you're in Worcester I would recommend tracking it down as the food was great and the staff lovely. They were busy when we arrived and apologised for the wait on the food, but this is fine when you only have 2 members of staff to do all the cooking and service and your menu is completely vegan- we'd rather wait and support! They were sadly mostly out of garlicky sweet potato but I had the 'no quack' mock duck sushi burrito instead and this was great. I'll just have to come back another time to try out the potato!

Visited the cafe for the first time today. Usually I buy from here from the van at an event so it was lovely to go here.
Read moreIt was Christmas Victorian Market day so everywhere was super busy including here, so service wasn’t as quick as it probably normally would be.
However the food was lovely and tasty and really fresh! You can see it all being made to order while you wait.

All-vegan sushi, bowls, wraps, gyoza, inari pockets and side dishes. The deli case offers cheeses, plant meats, kimchi and kraut and tofu sandwich filling. Some days, three varieties of vegan Scotch eggs are available, made by local maker, The Veg Life. (They make a good take-along breakfast on train journeys!) Bottled sauces for sale.

I’ve been three times and every time the food has been superb and the people have been super friendly and welcoming. The bento box with a sushi burrito and sides is a perfect take out option for a picnic.

Granted the current premises are tiny but the venue is in an interesting building called The Gallery, an indoor market. Little Bento Box is upstairs, no wheelchair access that I could see.
Read moreThere is a table out on the gallery and inside the warm and cosy premises is seating for four. We received a friendly and chatty welcome.
The food was prepared fresh while we waited which we really appreciated, so much better than having sushi that’s pre-prepared.
Delicious food. Will definitely be back when next in Worcester.
Their website does say opening times are subject to change so I contacted the venue before travelling to check if they’d be open.

Read moreWe are o sorry to learn you visited us while we were closed. Sadly there is only two of us that operate the business. We have the shop and a trailer that we take to events during the summer.
We do post on our social media the days when the shop will be closed well in advance. Please check @littlebentosushi on Facebook and Insta for updates. It does also say on our listing on Happy Cow that we can close intermittently for events
On the 19th Aug, the day of your review, we were at The Farm Animal Sanctuary. This was a weekend event raising money for the sanctuary.

I have been here a few times now and every single time I have adored it! It has an amazingly cosy and friendly atmosphere and the food is quite honestly the nicest I’ve had in a long time. Well worth a visit if you want somewhere quiet and relaxed.

I was very happy to find an 100% vegan sushi restaurant/takeout during a weekend trip, and even happier with the food. The smoked tofu works so well in the rolls and the teriyaki sweet potato is balanced and flavorsome. Also reasonably priced (almost double the price in a similar place in Brighton). Sad we live too many miles away!
