Been twice

Last time the menu had an amazing dessert with soy ice cream and crystallized sugar and edible flowers this and also had tempura broccolini
This time the chef made some tempura broccolini on request and the cauliflower enteee was amazing. We had a risotto for main. I am not a big fan of risotto but curry we have lots of at home. The desert was soy ice cream better than sorbet you get most places here but just like a Chinese restaurant dessert nothing fancy like before which was dissapointing but still good.

Top spot

Come for lunch and enjoy the excellent views. While expensive, the location, service, and food quality were worth it. Portion sizes were fine. And 2 vegan desserts were a bonus.

Pricey but yummy

From the vegetarian and vegan part of the menu, we chose the miso tofu as an entre and the eggplant on a bed of greens for our main. This was $70. There was an option for 3 meals (add dessert) for $80, or you could do a main plus a dessert for $70.

Pros: Taste, Presentation, Really friendly staff (Sherwin)

Cons: A bit pricey, Cobwebs on outside of some windows

Delicious meals + knowledgeable staff

When booking online you have the option to alert them to any dietary/allergy requirements. On arrival we got a separate vegan/vegetarian menu with everything clearly labelled, and the staff were also very well trained on what was vegan and what could be made vegan.
A side note that they’re very well trained for most allergies as they made sure my partners peanut allergy was communicated with the kitchen.
The price is higher but for entree main dessert and sides it all was well worth the price.

Pros: Seperate vegan/vegetarian menu, Knowledgeable staff

Cons: Small fully vegan range, Higher price point

Below deck cafe - beautiful seaside spot

Under the Little Bay Beach House is their cafe, Below Deck, which is a perfect spot for breakfast, lunch or an evening drink. We went for breakfast and had soya milk coffee and the smoothie bowl which comes with coconut yoghurt and lots of beautiful fresh fruit. They also have a nourishing Buddha bowl. One caveat: the granola might be made with honey - not sure but worth asking. The view here is amazing - right on the water. Outdoor and indoor seating available.

Pros: Beautiful seaside setting , 1 brekkie & 1 lunch option in the cafe, Full vegan menu in the restaurant

Cons: Granola might have honey

Great service & food!

We had lunch at the cafe, not the restaurant, and there were 2 purported vegan items on the menu being, the Green Smoothie Bowl and the Buddha Bowl. They were both extremely delicious and the chefs had taken so much care with the presentation! All of the staff were also super lovely too. The only thing I was unsure about was that the Smpothie Bowl was labelled as vegan, however, the granola was described as “honey granola”. My parter didn’t mind but it would be worth clarifying if you would be minded by that. Would definitely recommend though! A fantastic place to eat on the water😄
