Best (veg) moussaka in Athens - Edit
They have a separate menu for vegetarian options, and they include even traditional plates in a vegetarian way. Cool! The only bad thing is that, being a little place, we had to wait for some time to sit. But the food is gorgeous.

Very little to offer - Edit
The other reviews must’ve been posted and then the menu changed. Because there is not much here to eat. They only have one entrée and it didn’t look very appealing. Plus, they have a bean salad.

Nice location for a meal - Edit
Lovely spot close to the acropolis. I got the spaghetti and made sure it didn’t come with cheese. The waiter brought cheese on the side 😭 The portion size was great! It was a bit more pricey than some of the other restaurants in Athens likely due to the location. The staff was fine but not the friendliest compared to other restaurants.

Excellent family restaurant with great vegetarian food - Edit
Meaningful vegetarian options, all home cooked, including the best moussaka ever. Staff very welcoming and helpful, atmosphere far more relaxed & unhurried than usual for such a touristy area. Great value too

I was here with a tour group, staff was very friendly and asked us if there was any vegetarian or vegans with us. Good portions, very tasty and great price as well. I'd totally recommend this place.

Great location beside the acropolis museum - Edit
This restaurant has a few vegan options and the staff know what vegan is, and are very helpful. I had hummus and also the Gemista. There is also a pasta dish and the lemon potatoes are delicious.

Fresh and delicious Greek food - Edit
The staff were really friendly and knowledgeable. The food was great and there were a few vegan options. We had:
Read morea fresh salad with cucumber, tomato, olives, red onion and olive oil
Grilled flatbread
Fava dip (a bit like hummus - sooo good!)
A roasted tomato and pepper stuffed with rice, served with potatoes
And of course lots of Greek wine!
The portions are very generous. Highly recommended!

Enjoyable - Edit
For a non vegan restaurant they have a good selection. Portions sizes are huge! The staff are absolutely fantastic. The dips and breads are delicious and all the vegetables are of high quality. A shame there is smoking just outside but it’s like that everywhere. Come here if you need something quick in the area.

Convenient and delicious - Edit
This place is close to the Acropolis and Acropolis Museum which makes it a very convenient place to eat and relax after trekking the Acropolis. Cute place, friendly staff. Waiter made sure everything I ordered was vegan. The stuffed pepper and tomato were DELICIOUS as was the eggplant dip. I also had the tomato and cucumber salad but that was just tomatoes and cucumber in olive oil.

Okay for tourist place - Edit
Food was good (stuffed tomatoes and stuffed bell peppers) but the service wasn't. However, totally fine for a quick bite close to the Acropolis museum.

Very touristy - don’t bother - Edit
There is a vegetarian section at the back of the menu. Not a huge number of vegan choices other than salad, dips, tomato pasta and tomato / peppers stuffed with rice. They had courgette fritters and veggie mousakka as well but i’m guessing they’re not vegan. In a very touristy area by the acropolis museum complete with a really aggressive tout outside. Food was fine - I had the stuffed vegetables, husband had meat - and not expensive (€20 for 2 dishes and a bottle of water) but there are better places in Athens for veggies / vegans. Try OIKEIO (serves meat as well) and Mama Tierra (vegan).

amazing experience, worth 5 stars - Edit
Seriously though, this place was amazing! We showed up and upon finding out I was vegan, the cook himself came out and said he would make me a special dish. It was a beautiful stuffed tomato, an eggplant dip, and an amazing Greek salad without the cheese.

Located right by the new Acropolis Museum, I felt welcomed at this place. The food was very good, and they have quite a selection of vegetarian meals. I recommed the vegetarian moussaka and the freshly squeezed orange juice.

excellent Greek food! - Edit
2 pages of vegetarian food on the menu. we were a group of 7 and the owner/chef offered us a variety of things that were wonderful. we tried a lot of typical things, and end up full! dessert and water were free. Eating a lot of dishes for only 10€ seems impossible, mostly in the very acropolis. 100% recommended.

Why is this on HappyCow? - Edit
The vegetarian section is extremely tiny and mostly dairy-based. I don't know why this place is on happycow. The only already vegan items on the menu are the things you will be SO sick of if you're in Greece for more than 2 days -- fava and tomato-cucumber salad.
Read moreMoreover, this was the worst restaurant experience of my life. When I asked for a few things off the vegetarian section (5-6 items long, most with dairy) to be made without cheese, the waiter said not possible, then called the chef over, and another woman, and they all stood there berating me for wanting Greek classics changed. When I said I think we had a misunderstanding and to let me explain, they continued to down-talk me and not listen and be so condescending that I cried. I just cannot even believe that this happened. Do not go here.

knowledgable staff - Edit
Whilst it serves meat too, the staff here are very knowledgable on veganism as well as having a separate vegetarian menu. Treated really well here with extremely large portions for a very reasonable price which I didn't think would be possible given how close it is to Acropolis in an otherwise tourist trap of an area!
