DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEIR ONLINE STORE!! - Edit
I purchased an eye liner from their online shop in December. I heard nothing about the order, so in January i started emailing them hello@linnaean.co.uk (this is the address given on all their correspondence, online receipts and website). I emailed several times and received no response. I then called the main number and spoke to Lisa, i asked her if she could please update me on the order- she asked me to send over my query to guestrelations@linnaean.co.uk. She assured me she would pass this along to a manager and they would get back to me.
Read moreI received no response, so continued to call and email. To date i have called 16 times and emailed 10 times. I have never received an update on my order- it has gotten to the point now where i simply want a refund. However to obtain a refund has been impossible! I have called and called, I am repeatedly told the manager will call or email me, I am completely ignored. I have been told that they do not know how to issue my refund! I even offered to go in in person, they initially agreed to this, and then today (upon calling for the 16th time!) Was told that would not be possible.
I have spoken to Lisa and another member of the reception team who apologise, tell me they agree this is totally unprofessional and then assure me they will contact the manager and owner, this is to absolutely NO EFFECT! I am completely ignored.
I have never experienced such rudeness and diabolical customer service! It is incredibly frustrating. Being repeatedly ignored when i query what has happened is disgraceful. They have an online store but don't send the items you purchase and then don't issue a refund when they fail to provide the items you have purchased. I am told they don't know how to do this!! A total shambles! They also refuse to give out the name and details of the manager who is meant to contact me, but never does! I simply want a refund- its been nearly 2 months since I made the purchase. Based on this experience i will never visit this establishment and would advise caution to anyone dealing with them!
After my call today, i was told initially they were 80% sure they had issued a refund! I assured them they had NOT! I asked today what on earth i need to do to bring this matter to a close, and was basically told they are at a loss to help me! I have been told their manager will be emailing me today to confirm my refund- I wont hold my breath!!
Cons: terrible customer service- repeatedly ignored!

Beautiful brunch spot - Edit
A beautiful cafe/beauty salon with friendly staff! We went there for brunch and tried the English breakfast and the pancakes with chocolate sauce. Both were really good. The chai latte wasn’t that creamy and we got served two different flat whites but overall the staff was very accommodating when we asked to customize the dishes. The pain au chocolate was delicious!

To begin with the food is not grate and the place looks very tacky (fake flowers everywhere, washed out green colours and venue looks sad with no customers and only their managers sitting on laptops. To be honest I wasn’t surprised when I heard they don’t pay their employees and don’t treat them with respect. Thumbs down

I can review the company for its behaviour with their employees. Linnaean hides under the name of ‘wellness’ but actually using vulnerable people while not paying them their salaries. And this is not a one time thing or a one person opinion.

Very disappointed with the food and service. I went for afternoon tea with a couple of friends and was pretty appalled by the experience. Staff didn't seem to know what was on the menu when asked about certain ingredients. Many times they rudely interrupted my friends and I to clear away plates - one time when my friend was half way through eating a cake, a staff member tried to take her plate. At no point did they say sorry, or excuse me. Very bizarre experience and left never wanting to go back. The food was very poor too and way over priced. I figured this is another of those 'this place looks good for the 'gram' but actually lacks good food or service. Hot drinks were dreadful too!

Great Vegan options - Edit
Delighted by their array of mostly vegan options. I am a fan of their Posh Kebab which was quite tasty and a big serving. We went here for my friend’s Hen Do.
