I go with my parents and I often feel like the vegan is more lacking than their options for the price. But it’s a nice little place if you are passing by which has vegan options on menu and specials board

We had really high hopes based on previous reviews, and choose the Buddha bowl on the specials board - it was Gosh pakora, some hummus, peppers and brown rice, for £9.50! The breakfast was more varied, but again the food was pretty bland and all tasted like supermarket ingredients. The coffee was really delicious though, and we would come back just to have drinks looking out over the canal.

I had the vegan breakfast, and my partner had the bean burrito, and both were fabulous! Great choice of milks for our coffees too. First time I’ve tried vegan black pudding or vegan haggis, but it turns out they’re super tasty.

There’s plenty of choice on the regular menu, but every time I’ve been the specials is what this place so exciting for me.
Read moreThe “ribs” were amazing - possibly the tastiest and most convincing vegan meat I’ve ever had. The waitress explained that the chef is always getting creative with the vegan offerings so I look forward to going back!

On the canal side so nice place to go for a walk after. Very friendly staff, lots of veggie and vegan dishes. Not just on the side, but half the menu, easily rivalling the meat options. Always different specials on.

Lovely cafe, great food! - Edit
A cute little cafe with a beautiful setting. I live fairly local to this place and it is a favourite of mine! I got a lovely Buddha bowl with a pumpkin spiced latte, this cafe has a variety of milk alternatives. There’s several vegan food options, my meal was off the specials board. Definitely recommend!
