Most vegan friendly Vietnamese in the city - Edit
I love Lilly's! The food is awesome, and they have more vegan options than most other Vietnamese places in New Orleans. Get their vegan egg rolls and spicy tofu... so good, also their avocado fresh spring rolls. I always get the bun with spicy tofu and a vegan egg roll added. So good! My husband loves their rice dishes with a side of steamed veggies added.

Not Best Vietnamese, Just Best... Period! - Edit
Ahhhh, the flavor!!!! On my first visit, I was torn between the lemongrass (my go-to favorite) and spicy tofu bun. Lilly said that, although both are excellent, if this was my first time, I had to try the "spicy," their specialty. Best advice ever! The tofu was encrusted in a Cajun/Vietnamese spice that was to die for!
Read moreThe place is adorable and has a great energy. Most tables are for six, so you may be sharing with another party, but all is good.

So so so good!!! - Edit
This was the best Vietnamese food I’ve ever had. I only wish I had more room in my stomach to try more things. My partner and I shared the egg rolls, dumplings, avocado rolls and tofu veggie pho. Everything was amazing but the dumplings were the highlight - so much flavor! We left completely stuffed. The iced jasmine tea is very refreshing.

Lots of vegan options - Edit
Lilly's is the best Vietnamese food in the city. The Lemongrass curry tofu with rice entree is the best. I also like the spicy tofu and rice entree. I've had the Pho which is great too. The spring rolls and crispy veggie dumplings are amazing! The coconut juice is so good but kind of expensive.

Great Service & Good Vegan Pho - Edit
Recommend? Yes.
Read moreNote that this is not an all vegan establishment. Got the vegan pho, vegan dumplings, and vegan spring rolls.
Vegan pho was very refreshing. It came loaded with veggies. It's not as aromatic as I had hoped but that's expected of most pho at restaurants.
Vegan dumplings was nice but not my thing. It was fried well so it gives that crunch that I love. The wrapper is on the thick side. It's stuffed with corn and spinach.
Vegan spring rolls was nice and fat. I loved that they put avocado in it as well. That peanut dipping sauce is fantastic and you can add sriracha to it for a kick.
Overall great food, great price, and wonderful people.
There are a couple of things I'm curious about on the menu so I'll be back to try those.

Lilies is an amazing option with lots of vegan options. My personal favorite is the spicy tofu. They also offer a vegan eggroll. Their juice options are plentiful. I won’t lie some days I want this restaurant for both lunch and dinner.

So delicious - Edit
When we asked the gentleman what was good here he very plainly just said “everything”. He was correct in terms of what ended up filling our table. I got the vegan rolls and tofu veggie pho. So absolutely delicious. My friend got a chicken dish and he loved it. Once a table leaves, if there is water leftover in cups the owner empties them into their plants to not be wasteful. So awesome. Cute little place off the beaten path of touristy spots.

Amazing! - Edit
I ordered the vegan egg rolls, vegetable rolls with strawberries (highly recommended), the spicey tofu and the tofu pho with iced jasmine tea. I cannot recommend everything enough. The service was incredibly and quick and this was honestly the best Vietnamese food I've ever eaten.

Best vegan Vietnamese food - Edit
Delicious vegan egg rolls, Pho, and garlic tofu. Highly recommended! Fast service, affordable prices, kind and attentive staff, knowledgeable about vegan options and their menu is labelled with what is vegan. The owner, Lilly, is lovely - she often takes the time to say hello and check how you are doing!

Tasty and cheap - Edit
Quick place to grab a cheap lunch in the LGD. They have a lovely tofu bahn mi, but be advised that they come with mayo by default — be sure ask them to hold the mayo if you’re vegan!

fishsauce :( - Edit
i'd love to leave a positive review, especially as the egg roll with strawberry was delicious. with my vegan spicy noodle dish i received a sauce though that - of course - i poured over my food.
Read moreit was only later that my vietnamese friend, who i showed a picture to, pointed out that it looks like traditional fish sauce - which explains the fishy taste in my mouth (i didn't wonder too much while eating as the food was stated as vegan...)
this isn't acceptable!
wrote them a message via facebook - never received an answer either.
highly disappointed :(
Pros: fish sauce in vegan dish, no communication

You shouldn't base a review on your friend's opinion from a photograph. We ordered the vegan bun, which is normally accompanied by a side of fish sauce, but ours came with a vegan sauce. If your sauce tasted fishy, you should have addressed it with your server. They do have vegan options.

Great pho! - Edit
I stopped in here for an early lunch. I started off with the vegan egg rolls, which everyone on Yelp seems to be raving about. The rolls contained taro, which was a nice and unusual twist. The taro was really good and creamy. However, on the whole, I found the egg rolls a bit heavy. They were quite oily, and this was compounded by the natural heaviness/starchiness of the taro.
Read moreThe vegan tofu pho, on the other hand, was unreservedly awesome. The broth was super flavorful and a nice change from the typical bland veggie broth that I've had at other Vietnamese places. At most pho establishments, I throw a bunch of Sriracha, lime, and basil into my pho to augment the weak veggie broth. However, at Lilly's, I was hesitant to add anything, for fear of disrupting the soup's deliciously balanced flavors.
They also had nice garnishes in the soup - roasted garlic, delicately sliced purple onions, and crisp scallions - that imparted rich and complex flavors and also made for delightful textural contrasts with the silky smooth noodles.
My main regret is that I only discovered this gem on my last day in New Orleans. I hope to return again!
Pros: really good pho, casual environment, friendly staff
Cons: heavy egg rolls

Cute little restaurant, friendly staff. We were lucky enough to go at a time when no one else was in the restaurant so we were able to talk to our server a good bit about what was in everything without issue or holding them up too much! The food was delicious and the prices were reasonable. I'd definitely go back for more!

Vegan Pho! - Edit
What a lovely option! While I was looking at the menu deciding on the various vegan options, the owner asked if I was vegan and then emphasized that the pho was "truly vegan." I noted clearly marked vegan options for pho, egg rolls, and spring rolls - there may have been more. The egg rolls were homemade and delicious with a plum sauce, the spring rolls were inventive with both avocado and strawberries, and the pho was packed with perfectly prepared veggies and a wonderful broth. $4+ for the pairs of egg/spring rolls, $8+ for enough pho for two to share.
