An absolute must try! - Edit
This place is an absolute must try if you are visiting Seattle. I had this place bookmarked because the menu and reviews caught my eye. When we walked in we were greeted immediately and sat at a cozy little two person booth. The menus are accessible via a QR code. The server asked if we had any questions and let us know she would be back in a bit to check on us. We were super overwhelmed by the drink menu and it must have been apparent because they came over and let us know it is not us it is them and they are totally self aware 😅. The server broke down the drink menu in a way that may it so much more clear. Honestly the service alone was 5 stars! There are mini paragraphs above each group of drinks that explains the type of category those drinks would fall in(martinis, margaritas, etc). That was a game changer and I ended up opting for the drink called “Big in Japan” which was one of the best drinks I’ve had in a long time. My BF and I ended up getting the MARS Sampler, which included all 3 flavors of their cauliflower wings, chick’n tenders, brussels sprouts, tamale cakes, hummus, and veggies. This is the way to go if you want to be able to try a bunch of items. It was the perfect amount of food for 2 people and we even had some leftover. The garlic butter Parmesan was the best flavor out of the 3 options for both cauliflower wings and tenders but I’m super glad I got to try all three flavors. The vibe inside is super fun and chill. I think it’s a great date night spot and they also have outdoor seating. We loved this place so much we went back a couple of days later for just drinks with friends.

Decent food if you're already drunk - Edit
The food there was typical bar fare, it wasn't great but after a night of partying it hit the spot. I will say that I wasn't a big fan of whatever cheese sauce they use on the nachos though. The resturant is very aesthetic as well and has great vibes for a first date place.

Super fun place for vinyl, vegan bites and unique drinks. The only downside is that I live so far from this place or I would be here all the time!

Super Cool Vegan Ambience - Edit
Great location and the decor/feel of the place is super inviting. I sat outside and while breezy was able to enjoy my late brunch. I got crazy and got the Chick’n’Waffles (WHO AM I)?! Fried cauliflower and very buttery waffles, it was good - but not for me. I should have just ordered the Chick’n Caesar Salad like I had planned, oops! That’s my bad, not theirs.
Read moreThe seasonal Kombucha was tart and refreshing but could have used being poured over ice (again my bad).
I’d definitely come back to check out their other items. Friendly personnel and located in a very vegan friendly neighborhood.
Pros: All Vegan/Plant-Based w/Cool Vibe, Friendly Personnel • Kind Vibes, Vinyls for Playing Available • Awesome Decor

Hey ZombieC. It's not you it's them. Beautiful location, tried really hard to cap a vibe with the decor, but the food is absolute trash unfortunately, really just a yupster wanna be bougie bar. Go to Georgetown!!!

Creative tasty cocktails and delicious comfort food - Edit
We sat at a cozy heated outdoor booth with our dog and had really good and unusual cocktails (including one made with aquafaba!) and the appetizer platter, which was huge and awesome. The cauliflower wings and the polenta cakes stood out as especially memorable. We are looking forward to returning and trying more of the menu because it looks great.

Good food, but damn… - Edit
With a name like “life on mars” you’d expect a fun environment at the very least. Really lacking in personality at this place, except for one of the bathrooms which is strange and silly. Food was hella expensive and while yeah it was good, it definitely felt like hey let’s take advantage of the vegans cause they expect to pay more anyway. I dunno. Won’t be going back.

Really cool spot, great food - Edit
Everything I could possibly want in life in a vegan restaurant/bar/record store except maybe books? Had the appetizer sampler which had cauliflower wings, chick’n tenders, and a samosa and tamale cake - the samosa and tamale cakes were absolutely lights out amazing. I wish I had just gotten full orders of those. The atmosphere was super cool and well designed. A really awesome spot - I hope to make it back!

Excellent brunch - Edit
Having been here at night I wasn’t thinking of it as a brunch spot. But there I was, on a Saturday at 1 PM, and decided to stop in and try it. The bad wolf sandwich was amazing. The service was nice. It was all good.

Fried food galore - Edit
First time here. This was a fun place! Nice ambiance. Sever was a bit cold but warmed up when we ordered our food. She seemed initially irritated we didn’t know grenadine wasn’t vegan. She said it has Cochineal bugs in it. That was news to me as I thought it had red #40 dye which is from petroleum or coal. Anyway, we ordered the Buffalo cauliflower wings, Sweet corn tamale cakes, Steakhouse burger, and the Not so crabby po’ boy. All of the food was pretty good but my favorite was the fries! Will definitely order the Disco fries next time. Hubs loved rockin out to Metallica while eating his meal. The second bathroom was cool as was mentioned in another review. One gripe was the apps were served almost at the same time as the entrees but the service was quick so we couldn’t complain much about that. All in all, a good experience!

Comfort Foods Galore - Edit
Is life on Mars really that much better than here on Earth? Depending on our rate of meat consumption, it might just be lol.
Read moreI joke around that I rarely have to wait to be seated at vegan restaurants but Life on Mars nearly changed that stance.
I ordered their Crab Cake Po Boys with their quinoa salad as a side, while my partner went with their Spicy Chicken Sandwich and fries. We also shared their Mac N Cheese cause you gotta try this at any vegan spot to see how they do. My crab cakes were okay - crispy batter with what I believe to be seitan in the middle. The quinoa salad was not good so I wish I had gone for the fries instead. The chicken sandwich here was also decent - spicy seasoning was on point and it resembled more of a 'filet o fish' type of sandwich. I also thought the mac could've had more flavor but it may have just been the kind of vegan cheese they used.
Pros: Great comfort food options
Cons: Quinoa salad lacked flavor

Inconsistent - Edit
My partner really liked the chopcheese sandwich. (Tasted like a cheeseburger) The Brussels sprouts and marketboard were pretty good but I wouldn’t come here just for that. I might bring my guy friends here. Good music.
Read moreEdit: I’ve returned here several times and must highly recommend the cauliflower wings. I bring my Omni friends here all the time and they love it. The brunch here is also very good. So far we’ve tried the chilaquiles, chick’n waffles, and Up on Mars (with biscuit and gravy) and haven’t been disappointed yet.
Edit 2: Every time we come here it seems their recipes have changed. Last trip was for brunch. I got Up on Mars, which I’ve had before. But this time the biscuit and gravy were not good. They were nothing like what I had before. The time before that the cauliflower wings were way over fried. I wish this place was more consistent so I could figure out what is actually good here.

Okay - Edit
I got the summertime salad, my friend got the mac and chorizo, and we shared a spinach and artichoke dip. The dip was not very good. It tasted like they whisked almond milk and cheap vegan cheese together and threw in some spinach and artichokes. I like a baked dip where the top gets a little brown and crispy. The consistency could have been creamier too. My main was just okay, but my friend really liked hers. I was considering getting dessert but wasn't impressed enough by the other food to give it a go.

Great Brunch Options - Edit
Went with a group of 4 and we all got something different, ranging from fruit and yogurt to their take on chicken and waffles. The fried tofu (the chicken on their chicken and waffles) was some of the best fried cauliflower I’ve had. Loved their country gravy and the chilaquiles were so fresh and tasty, but almost too much lime.
