Great falafel burger - Edit
Nice selection of vegetarian options. Cannot comment on vegan as I didn't order any. We had the falafel burger, casado vegetariano and the margarita sandwich. Everything was great, except for the chips. The selection of fruit juices was decent and the beet juice was very good.

so many vegan and vegetarian choices!!! - Edit
This place is wonderful! The menu denotes dishes with meat with an icon (vs the usual vegetarian dishes being marked on a menu) which just shows the amount of vegetarian and vegan options available. It's also organic. We had the fried falafel and mango salad to start (both lovely) and then the vegan lasagne and the veg curry for our main courses. Both were very tasty. In a great spot on the Main Street for people watching.

extraordinary vegan food - Edit
The food at Life House was amazing. The falafel burger came with fresh chips and was topped with lettuce, avocado and plantains. My son said it was perfect and he was surprised how well plantains tasted with falafel.

My Pad Thai was extraordinary. The vegetables were very fresh and perfectly cooked with just the right amount of crunch. It consisted of a peanut sauce, rice noodles and tons of vegetables.
The total with one drink and one dessert was $46.
We have had such good food in La Fortuna! This is the fourth good restaurant for vegan food we have tried. We also had some terrible food at Tabacon and some other places but for a small town La Fortuna has a lot of good options.
Pros: Fast friendly service , lots of vegan options

great falafel burger! - Edit
Great service here, so friendly and attentive! I had a falafel burger with two bits of sweet fried plantain which was delicious with fries with spice and pesto drizzle and the burger had pesto drizzle Also. Really yummy, several veggie options so defo plan to go back another night. I think the name has changed though because it said natural something on the sign, but you can't miss it because it has a massive sign saying best vegetarian food in town!

A beacon of happiness! - Edit
Andrea made such a good first impression with a super-friendly welcome and an offer to customize the menu if we needed something different.
Read moreThe food was excellent, with good value prices.
The menu options were marked by type, chicken, fish, vegetarian, etc.
The daily special vegan cauliflower soup was delicious, as was the raw chocolate cake.
The menu is evolving with more veg/vegan options.
Pros: Vegan options, Happy to amend for vegans, Locally sourced produce
