A great casual fine dining experience.

A modern and relaxed atmosphere coupled with friendly and accommodating staff makes Lido Malkasten a very nice option for a more interesting dining experience. During our visits there was at least one vegan option available and sometimes even more, including an appetizer, main dish, and dessert. Best to call and ask what the vegan options for the day are and reserve a table. However, during our last visit where we did not follow our own advice, the only vegan item on the menu was an appetizer. Regardless, the staff was happy to accommodate and make whole vegan main dish that did not appear anywhere on the menu of the day. A highlight is that all dishes I have tried so far are no meat substitutes, no meat lookalikes, and no meat wannabes. Just delicious all-plant dishes being just what they are: plants! A great place to visit for a casual but elevated and delicious experience.

Cons: Not always many vegan options
