蓮芳, at 台南东区育乐街39, is a small fusion restaurant in an alley near National Cheng Kung University. Dishes are ovo-lacto vegetarian and without onion or garlic. Ask which dishes are or can be vegan. Fusion

Friendly owners but hard to communicate. Mostly local visitors.

You have to be very clear what you chose, before you know it you have a plate with gratin with mok fish on rice basis.

If I ever come again I'd choose a local dish.

Pros: friendly, a lot of choise, free tea

Cons: mostly Mandarin spoken, the fusion is not such a succes
