Love their steamed chicken and chilli - Edit
Came to figure out why is their chicken rice so famous, personally I like the way they prepare and serve the steamed chicken, the sweetness and saltiness of the broth are well balanced, quite appetizing, underneath of the chicken, there are fresh cucumber and tomato. For the chilli paste, the spiciness of the chilli and the sourness of the lemon and lime balanced up each other well. Overall they are good at the steamed chicken and the chilli, but not the rice. Imho Daily Green serves the tastiest chicken rice so far, if i could have Daily Green's rice and Li Wei's steamed chicken and chilli together, then it will be my favorite steamed chicken rice set, haha.

Li Wei’s chicken rice, in my opinion, is one of the better ones in town and definitely a must-order. It’s only available from 11am-ish onwards and depending on your luck, at times it’s sold out by 1pm plus. I still prefer their steamed chicken rice (white) to the roasted ones!

For the Kway Chap, I adore the smooth and thin broad rice sheets, which is almost hard to find elsewhere especially at a vegetarian stall.

I went down at around 3pm trying my luck to see if the veg chicken rice was still available. Unfortunately it was sold out and so were most other items.
Read moreBased on what was still available, I decided to try the satay beehoon since it wasn't commonly sold. The satay sauce was thick and tasted fantastic. Some veg satays that I tried at other stalls usually made their sauce too sweet. Their satay beehoon also had blanched kangkong and some mock fish slices.
Some of their dishes contain eggs.

There is a variety of food here. The food on hotplate is piping hot and delicious! It comes in a set with soup too. The white chicken rice is the best out there but it is usually sold out after 6. Great stuff and pricing is just right too.
