Tasty pie but could do more for vegans

I came here to watch Leyton Orient play Stevenage as part of their 1881 Suite Match day package which usually includes a 3 course meal and a ticket to watch the match as well as refreshments, a programme and a teamsheet. As our match was an early kickoff we had a cooked breakfast instead. I went with three non-vegans so I was able to directly compare the meals and I felt like the vegan option was a bit of an afterthought. In the vegan version gammon, sausage and a minute steak had been swapped for two vegan veggie sausages and an extra hash brown. The food itself was decent, similar to what you'd get in a pub.

At half-time I checked out the standard options offered to all supporters (not just those with the package) and I was surprised to see that they offered a Vegan Tuscan Bean Pie. It was £3.80 which I thought was pretty reasonable for a football match, and it was tasty with a generous amount of filling.
I didn't see any other vegan options on the menu but it was nice to see at least one fully vegan offering.

I'd recommend the match day packages or just coming to watch a match here generally as it was a very fun experience, but they can definitely do more to cater for vegans.

Update: Came back for another match with the match day package and got to try the three course meal. The starter was a tomato and red pepper soup which was tasty. The main was a mushroom risotto which was also tasty and actually looked better than the non-vegan option! The non-vegan option was toad in the hole with mash and peas, and they let me have mash and peas with my risotto which is pretty unorthodox but made my meal bigger which I enjoyed! For dessert the vegan option was fruit salad but none of their cakes were vegan.

Pros: Tasty vegan pie with lots of filling, Nice family football club, Pretty good value

Cons: More thought is needed around vegan offerings, Limited vegan options
