My favourite! - Edit
This is my absolute favourite vegan restaurant in the region! Anytime we are driving through Burlington we stop here to eat, sometimes we even come all the way from Niagara just to eat here! Great burgers, great bowls and good atmosphere ❤

Return monthly for specials - Edit
I’ve ordered here over 5 times since going vegan and seriously, these guys make darned good food. I come back regularly for the monthly specials. Prices are quite high but you should expect that in the Lakeshore Burlington area. Also, their playlist is the best.

Not too bad - Edit
Visited once over a year ago. Had the reuben and one of the burgers. Food tastes good, but very overpriced for the portions. Burger was almost the size of a slider, and no sides. Had to order a second meal to feel satisfied. Would recommend it to vegans who are willing to splurge a bit.

Lots of Options! - Edit
Creative and vast menu, with a lot of fun spin-offs and and overall good vibe.
Read moreThe food is good. I sampled the nachos (excellent), avocado fries (surprisingly disappointing, maybe the seasoning?), and Cali burger (very good). I also opted for the only non-banana smoothie in the Blue Goddess (good). I didn't have room for any dessert at the end, but I was eyeing those chocolate coconut treats.
The food is fresh and well prepared. The service is excellent and very friendly. The outside seating is also a nice perk.
Good food, somewhat premium prices, but the quality is there. For a vegetarian/vegan - you really can't go wrong. Keep doing you, fam!
Pros: Lots of options

so good, and still good under new owners - Edit
I always love Lettuce love and I've been multiple times. I'd heard that new owners had bought it out but was keeping it the same. I was still a little iffy because I had gone for years when it was a mother and daughter team. I went recently and was very happy with my Reuben sandwich and cake and my boyfriend loves his nachos.

Thanks for being all vegan - Edit
Thank you Lettuce Love for being all vegan. But like others have said it’s a wee bit pricey. I ordered the California burger and though it was ok, the whole time I was thinking of how ripped off I felt. $16 for a smallish burger with no drink or side? I have no problem paying $16 for a meal but I would prefer to be full afterward. The staff was awesome. 5 stars for them!

Okay but over priced - Edit
Really small location with not much seating which makes it very claustrophobic when they're busy. My burger did not have much flavour, I wouldve ordered something else if the burger wasnt so expensive especially for the price with no side or drink. Wish they offered more than one size for smoothies.

Not bad, not great - Edit
It's great to see an all-vegan restaurant here in Burlington but, after 2 visits, I'm not really feeling this place. The breakfast scramble was a vinegary disappointment the first time we went. The second time I went for a bowl after seeing the raves on here and found it bland and overpriced. Not sure I'm ready to give Lettuce Love a 3rd shot, especially when there are so many better vegan options nearby.

Very nice spot to have a beer and food however it is a little pricey! Nachos come in a very large portion which is a meal in itself!! Can't wait to return and try more 😍

Pretty good - Edit
A cute little cafe by the waterfront. I LOVE the concept of the cafe and staff is always wonderful. The food is good, however portions are often inconsistent from visit to visit (in both size and ingredients). For the higher price point I feel like the portion sizes should be heartier or include a side (with the sandwiches/burgers, especially).

I've been going to LLC since it was Kind Food at its inception and I've watched it grow over the years in size and following. The dishes can be inconsistent but the flavours are there. It's always busy! Happy to see the changes that are making LLC better everyday and bring accessible vegan food to Burlington.

Un incontournable ! - Edit

Delicious! - Edit
All of my experiences with Lettuce Love (formerly Kindfood) have been wonderful. The cupcakes are delicious, including the more unusual flavours (beet-flavoured cupcakes!) It was a real thrill to have a marshmallow rice treat after more than a decade without one. My favourite dishes are the Buddha bowl and the reuben sandwich. The reuben is implausibly good: a thick slab of tempeh topped with sauerkraut and Daiya. So tasty. Their smoothies are great, too. The staff are the friendliest staff I have encountered at any restaurant anywhere in the world.

Amazing Service, Even Better Food - Edit
I love this place! The nachos are to die for. I'd never been to a restaurant before where I could eat absolutely everything on the menu; it totally made my trip. I drove five hours to go to this restaurant and it was totally worth it. There was a great vibe in the dining area and the staff came and visited with us several times, and remembered us when we came in again another day. I cannot say enough praise about this place.

I come here often. The food is fabulous and the service is amazing. Although the prices are a bit more expensive than your regular cafe, the food is worth it. They constanty have specials and variety of food and recently added a full brunch menu! They also have wine & beer for cool night out with friends, and dining in the patio in summer is amazing.

absolutely amazing - Edit
Lettuce Love is the best. I love literally everything on their menu and I love that they have grocery items so I can take things home for later. I'm the kind of person that orders more than one item so that I can take one home with me for lunch the next day, so this is a huge selling point for me.
Read moreMy non-vegan family and friends are big fans as well, and since they are restaurateurs they tend to be tough critics. But Lettuce Love wins over everyone I've ever introduced to their food.
Their "cult like" following and continuous award wins are enough to speak for their quality and consistency of service, so give them a try. I must warn you, you may become addicted!
Also worth checking out (an equally addictive) is their award winning bakery, Kelly's Bakeshop, which is just up the street and is owned and operated by the same family, who are absolutely lovely people so say don't be shy about saying hello and getting to know them and their friendly staff!
The only thing I can think of that I would like to see them do differently would be to have more locations! I would love love love to see them expand east toward Niagara or west toward Toronto.
Pros: all vegan restaurant , gluten and common allergen free options , sister bakery
