Nice stop with some good vegan options.

This place is a coffee shop in the centre of Okehampton. There are a good numbers of vegan options, tea cakes, cakes, soups and panini. I had a rather festive (it was mid December) vegan sausage, stuffing and cranberry sauce panino. Very good.

Yummy!

Had a vegan tea cake and some tea (vegan butter and milk options were available) and my friend had a vegan falafel board! Also had yummy vegan biscoff tiffin😄

Vegan toast options

Toast is a good option around Okehampton where vegan food is limited. Toast is a big cafe that also offers some vegan toast and sometimes a vegan special like a wrap.
We had a sweet vegan toast with banana, maple sirop and walnuts. The other one was avocado and came with a small salad. The toasts tasted okay but one was not super filling after a long hike and therefor prices were a bit high for a combo we could have made in the hostel kitchen.

Nevertheless, as options around here are limited, it's a good option.

Pros: good vegan options for the region

Cons: fri & sat evening pizza, without vegan options!, expensive

nice place to stop

Stopped in for a coffee, had an awesome vegan flapjack. Very friendly staff. Looks like they also serve some vegan mains e.g. jacket potato, falafel, hummus.

Best place in okehampton

I love toast, it's perfect for everyone. They do offer meat options but there is plenty of vegetarian and one or two vegans.
They are extremely popular for their food platters and coffees, they offer soya milk as well.
The staff are great and very friendly, you order at the counter and then they bring the food over. It is a lot nicer than any other tea room or coffee shop in okehampton.

Pros: Lovely food great quality , Breakfast, brunch, lunch and snack menu, Helpful and friendly staff

Cons: Very popular- pick time carefully , Have run out of food , Some food overpriced
