Fresh, tasty vegan food with GF options

This is an absolute treasure of a find, just off Shoreditch High Street. The people running it are lovely and friendly. The food itself is really high quality and good value for money. I would have given 5 stars if the place was fully vegan. But understand that high rent costs forced them to serve some non-vegan options too.

Pros: Excellent food, Friendly staff, Nice vibe

Insanely good

Wow yep this is now one of my favourite restaurants, easily one of the best meals I’ve had in a long long time!!

Pros: Very filling, Lots of healthy options, Super quick preparation

Cons: A little pricey

Changed from vegan to quite meaty

Even though the vegan options are still nice it changed from an all vegan place first to pescatarian and now full on meat. Very disappointing.

So sorry to hear how you feel about our business. We had two simple options; We would close the business as a fully vegan eatery or we would diversify to accommodate the vast majority of our visitors, meat eaters! Nevertheless We are very proud that out of the 15 types of proteins we offer only 4 are non vegan. We hope to be able to welcome you to our shop very soon.

Delicious burritos & more for busy vegans unfortunately they also serve meat

I had the “build your own” .Great new addition to the options venues for the vegan 🌱 community in Shoreditch.

They would be 5 ⭐️ if they were fully vegan 🌱

Been going here quite a few times now and it keeps getting better & better.

Very tasty!

We had the Hoisin Jackfruit and the "Pork Bbq" burritos and the cauliflower wingz. All very tasty. The Jackfruit burrito was a little oily.

📢 they seem to offer real chicken as an option now 😢

Surprise in Shoreditch!

Had a great meal in LDM! I had a burrito with chickpea fritters as side and absolutely loved it! I’d definitely recommend this place.

Delicious

Love this place. Fresh, healthy. delicious food. I always go for the rice bowl with cauliflower and a mixture of the yummy sides. The mango salsa is a favourite. Would definitely recommend.

Underwhelming, sadly

Was really looking forward to trying it out, but the sushi bowl that I ordered was rather soggy and bland tasting, as if I picked up a ready meal from a shelf. Maybe don't go at 3pm?

Best Chicken Katsu I have ever had - out of this world!!!!!!

Unbelievably good quality and taste- the best value around - get down to let's do maki immediately!!!

Very tasty all-vegan sushi

I was very satisfied with my visit. Sushi was rolled to order, very prompt. Four very interesting fillings. Big portion size. Lots of other things on the menu to try next time such as cauliflower wings. Friendly owners. They are also at various summer festivals.

Pros: Totally vegan , Delicious truffle mushroom filling , Very clean modern surroundings

Let’s Do Maki

Finally, this restaurant now has a brick and mortar location. I have been on the search for this food for over a year but could never seem to find where Let’s Do Maki was set up.

I ordered a bowl with the chickpea tofu bits on top. However, I saw someone else with a cauliflower glaze bowl, which looked much better. I will order this next time. Definitely would like to support this local business more.

Delicious, Fast and Healthy

I had ordered a tuna roll at this modern take on Japanese sushi. You order at the counter, and can either remake your own sushi rolls, or order a few rolls listed on a menu on the wall. The owner is really kind and helpful, and the sushi rolls are a great healthy and quick option.

Think Sushi do Temaki

Delicious freshly made sushi style rolls packed full of vegan goodness. We shared a roll made with nori sheet and filled with white rice, vegan tuna and various vegetables topped off with some sriracha. Thoroughly enjoyable and extremely pleasant to eat in Kings Cross Market sunshine.
