We’ve been in Tunisia for about 6 days and food has been kinda tough, but this place was great. They speak English and sort of know what vegan is, but be sure to specify no eggs or dairy.
Read moreWaiter recommended the hummus and falafel dish (minus the dairy, plus mushrooms) and we got a side of bread, coffee, and tea. I asked if they had any vegan deserts and they didn’t, but they gave me a free banana on the house 😅

We just had coffees, but they served oat milk which is a first for us in the entirety of Tunisia! The menu looked like things could be made vegan but again, we didn't eat anything. Bit more expensive than in the Tunis centre (9dinar for ice oat cap) but I think worth it!

Smooth Experience - Edit
The owner was very patient and kind as we explained to him our food restrictions. He made the effort to substitue one of the inherently dairy-rich dishes for a whole new one that was more suitable for us. He also checked on us to see how things were going.
