A ne pas manquer ! - Edit
Un des (très) rares restaurants ( vrais restaurants et non fast ou street food) proposant des plats vegan - sans doute parmi les meilleurs que j'ai pu goûter à ce jour - et des desserts à tomber! Possibilité d'adapter les plats végétariens en version vegan. A la fois original, raffiné et copieux ! Ajoutez à cela un accueil des plus sympathiques. Vraiment une adresse à ne pas manquer

(1 Fischgericht und 1 Fleischgericht). Es sind alle Gerichte markiert für eine einfache Orientierung ob vegan oder vegetarisch.
Das essen war sehr frisch und hochwertig und kreativ zusammengestellt. Wir waren so begeistert, dass wir am nächsten Abend gleich nochmal da gegessen haben. Preis/Leistung auch super!

Update July 2023: They don't have any vegan dishes on the menu anymore, but they have several vegetarian dishes that can be made vegan on request. The food was good but the quality of vegan food has decreased a lot as compared to what they used to offer in the past.

July 2022: Mostly vegetarian and vegan restaurant. It's a shame that the restaurant is no longer fully vegetarian though. They have added one fish main to their menu.
December 2021: Tasty food, friendly staff. Definitely a place worth going to in Nancy

Two years ago, I was pleasantly surprise to discover a restaurant in Nancy that proudly claim serving only vegan and vegetarian meals! The menu was innovative and delicious, mixing up french gastronomy with spices from the world to provide delicates and ethical food. And yet, they went backwards. They erased their claim from the vitrine and bring back meats and fish, vegan being optional, again - arguing that it scared the customers.

Il y a 2 ans, j'avais été élégamment surprise de découvrir un restaurant qui se revendiquait uniquement végétalien et végétarien. Le menu était innovante et délicieux, sachant mêlée la gastronomie française aux épices du monde pour des mets délicats et éthiques. Ils ont pourtant rétrogradé.. ils ont effacé cette fière mention de leur vitrine en arguant que cela faisait peur aux clients et les plats végétaliens sont de nouveau "optionnels".
Sauver la planète fait peur.. à bon entendeur!

Very nice vegetarian dishes. - Edit
The vegetarian dishes are super tasty and the place is really cosy. I was also quite surprise to discover that the menu is not 100% vegetarian anymore. Talking with the owner, he confessed that they had to include meat and fish to attract more customers Unfortunately in Nancy and its surroundings, people are reluctant to eat vegan/vegetarian. I fully support them and hope that they will gain the reputation that they deserve and be able to offer a full veggie menu in the near future.

Lovely vegetarian dishes - Edit
We really liked our dinner in this vegetarian restaurant. We had various very tasty tapas for starters and a risotto and a tagliatelle as a main. Everything wonderfully seasoned. Waitress was very kind and patient with our bad French.

Une cuisine surtout végétarienne avec des options végétaliennes. Ma mère qui aime les saveurs plutôt traditionnelles des légumes cuisinés simplement a beaucoup apprécié. Mon plat était bon, très bien épicé, ce qui est rare et donc à souligner, mais malheureusement trop salé aussi. Les assiettes sont belles et colorées, un vrai effort est fait au niveau de la présentation et de l'originalité. En revanche le tout manque de protéines et de modernité.

"vegetarian" restaurant serves meat and fish? - Edit
Food was tasty, but i was pretty surprised when showing up to a place that calls itself a vegetarian restaurant (it's literally printed on the window) to find not a single vegan dish on the menu, but that they do offer meat and fish. They were able to adapt one of the mains to make it vegan, but tbh i would expect better from a "vegetarian" restaurant.

I went there end of 2021 for lunch (and forgot to do a review). but it was delicious, generous and fully vegetarian. We loved it there.
Read moreSo, back in town, without any hesitation we went there to dinner. First surprise: they now serve meat and fish? The manager told us, when we asked, it was either they did put meat and fish or they would have closed. I think there is an other reason.
The real reason is, and I'm coming to my experience, because fruits and legumes are way more difficult to serve "as-is" than "steak and fries" (which please 90 % of meat-eater).
Indeed, the menu is very old-fashioned vegan style food, not 2023-restaurant style.
The fact it's vegetarian is not why people don't come back (there is an other full vegan restaurant not in the city center constantly overcrowded, so the demand is there).
The location is not why people don't come back: it's the hypercenter.
The people don't come back for two reason:
1. It's CRAZY expensive (dinner starter+main+dessert for 2 was 71€, more than Paris !!!)
2. You need a modern menu, filled with protein and creative cuisine. Not just a cauliflower cut in pieces (even if it's good).
I really love this place, but I don't like the easy "vegetarian-bashing" without taking a step back and just re-work the offer.

A real tribute to vegan cuisine! - Edit
Best vegan 3 course meal ever. I loved the presentation, the taste, the originality and the freshness of everything I had this evening. The waiter was very welcoming and the chef was clear very passionate about vegan cooking. New menu every week from what I understood. I wish I lived in Nancy so I could come and try more!

Vegan options are available on their menu : starter, main and dessert.
My gustatory experience was mitigated. My entrance composed of sweet potatoes falafels was just delicious. However, the main was really to salty and the original lemony emulsion was not to much too my liking. It was composed of cauliflower tenders and boulgour served with a leek and cabbage dip and an emulsion of candied lemon.
My friend had the vegetarian option for the entrance, and the Maltaise sauce was supposed to be balanced with some orange juice, but the only thing she tasted was the lemon. The server came back and apologized because indeed in the kitchen they had some seasoning issues.

The menu changes constantly but always contains vegan dishes. The staff is very friendly and as the food is made on the spot, you can let them know of any intolerance or preference you may have and they adapt the dish. The vegan options are delicious, made with seasonal, local ingredients #Veganuary

Le retour du veggie à Nancy ! - Edit
Been waiting for a veggie restaurant in Nancy for years as I visit it often, and walked randomly past this one last night and noticed half the menu was vegan ! They have a menu of 2 choices of starter, main, and dessert, one of them vegetarian, one vegan that changes every week. Really yummy and beautifully presented. The staff are lovely and fun and the place is really pretty!
