Great Syrian dishes

Great food in relaxed atmosphere. Vegan menu to share for 2, with hummus, falafel, rice dish, baba ganoesh, bread and salad. Very reasonable prices!

2nd best falafel in Amsterdam

After being on the lookout for the best falafel in Amsterdam, I have to Say the Lemoene is definitely up there.

Decor: very simple, wooden chairs and tables, reminding you of an old class room

Service: casual, very friendly and quick

Food: many vegetarian options and possibly vegan if you ask for it. Menu is divided into mezzes, wraps, main courses and sharing menu.

Prices are slightly more n the higher side, however it is justified by the high quality of the food (and besides what isn’t too expensive in Amsterdam these days).

Pros: Lots of vegetarian options, Good quality of the food + they serve alcohol , Friendly and fast service

Cons: On the expensive side, Decor might not appeal everybody, Difficult to see if you don’t know it is there

Best Falafel in Amsterdam

I would come back for their amazing falafel. The cook is super friendly, and the vibe (old school building) of the place is really unique. I think it was a bit pricey for the amount of food, but would definitely come back to have the falafel.

Pros: Friendly cook, Unique Setting

Cons: A bit pricey

the food is lekker.
edit: prices and menu changed but they have falafel pita instead of a falafel wrap now which is so much tastier
