Limited options - Edit
This is a very neat space with a great location. That said, they had a very small menu with only one vegan salad and a veggie burger. But the burger was good and came with delicious waffle fries!

Good spot for a vegan dog - Edit
Upon visiting Reykjavik, I found its world reknown hot dog stand, Bæjarins, did not serve vegan dogs, as far as I could tell. I was in the smaller city of Akureyri days earlier and the hot dog stand there, Pylsuvagninn, did (with a decent sized selection too, but I didn't have one, regretably) so was a little surprised by this contrast.
Read moreWanting an Icelandic hot dog experience, I stumbled by this rock pub. They occasionally will have live music here (I wasn't there on such a night though).
I had the only vegan dog on the menu. Pricey (2990 ISK, about $20 US) but it surprised me by its large size, and how it was absolutely stuffed with coleslaw, coriander and shredded carrots. You pretty much have to eat it with a knife and fork. It tasted quite good and was fairly filling. Definitely was a different hot dog experience than I'm used to as an American.
Pros: Hot dog is large and stuffed, Good pub ambience w/ occasional live music, Friendly staff
Cons: Pricey, One vegan item on menu
