Tasty Vegan Foods - Edit
Be aware that last orders for food are 2.30 although they still do cakes & teas after.
Read moreWe enjoyed the generous portions of lentil soup with homemade bread, fresh peppermint tea & orange chocolate cake.

Lazy inauthentic tourist spot - Edit
Pre-frozen tasteless falafel, pittiful side salad and a mush Welsh rarebit (?!) I thought this was middle eastern, it is flavourless and only attracts those who feel like they should support alternative venues. Absolute rip off that has somehow survived.

Cons: Terrible chef who glared at us returning food, Dry tasteless microwaved food, Overpriced crap

Good variety - Edit
Good variety of dishes and a nice insight into some Persian/fusion food with friendly people. The vegan Baklava is really good!

Tasty food, friendly service - Edit
A cosy spot in the centre of town, slightly to one side of the main streets and bustle. Cosy, with a few seats in the small area out front too. The food is tasty with a decent vegan selection. The Persian platters and the bread are particularly delicious.

Warm, inviting with delicious food - Edit
Leila’s Kitchen is such a lovely, homely and inviting spot in Hebden Bridge. The staff are so welcoming and attentive, and their little cafe is so charming. The food was delicious and perfectly portioned. Huge shout out to the cakes…SO delicious! My non-vegan mum had the halloumi wrap and Victoria sponge, and I had the vegan mezze and the vegan chocolate orange cake…all absolutely gorgeous! Thank you so much Leila’s Kitchen!

Been here many times and I am always impressed with the food, service and atmosphere.

Cosy café with tonnes of options - Edit
So many vegan options to choose from! We had mochas, a burger, and an aubergine dip with bread. The burger was so fresh tasting! Dog friendly too which was a massive bonus as it was too cold to sit outside.

Nice vegan full english - Edit
My partner and I both had the vegan full English which was nice, but not the best I have ever had. It doesn't come with vegan bacon and there was coriander over it which I am not a fan of. But the sausages it came with were delicious and the staff were very friendly. I was slightly disappointed that there wasn't a single vegan cake/dessert in the cabinet as I love a cake. The vegan options on the menu were very limited with several 'vegan option available' but it being unclear whether this was the same meal just without the non vegan elements such as removing the egg and the feta. Overall though we did enjoy the food and would go back if we wanted a full English.

Best tofu ever - Edit
We had breakfast here on Sunday. We both chose the vegan Persian breakfast: feta, cucumber, tomatoes, walnuts, parsley, mint, bread, and honestly some of the best tofu we’ve ever eaten (including in Japan!). Wish we had been staying in Hebden Bridge longer and could have returned to try more things from the menu. Really lovely relaxed atmosphere and nice staff too.

A small place but lovely! Friendliest and most polite staff, and delicious food. Visited with non vegan relatives who found what we had as vegans, and what they had as non vegans, delicious.

Leila's is our favourite local cafe. It's particularly good for breakfast but is generally a good stop for a cuppa or a light lunch. The owners are lovely - very friendly and welcoming.

Warm, friendly staff & amazing food - Edit
I had an amazing lunch at Leila's Kitchen last week, I can't wait to go back to try more of the menu. The food was fresh and incredibly flavoursome - I had mirza ghasemi starter followed by a falafel wrap. It was so good to have a choice as a vegan too.The falafel wrap was huge and so full of different flavour notes, by far one of the best I've ever had 😍. The staff were really lovely too, incredibly friendly and warm, we were made to feel very welcome. Thank you! 🙏

Great food and lovely people! - Edit
I love the vegan breakfast here but yesterday I had the vegan mezze platter which was delicious and fresh. The service is attentive and the cafe is very cosy. It feels much more of a family business than a lot of places in Hebden Bridge. I would recommend Leila's to vegans, vegetarians and anyone really. It's unique and lovely.
