Good food

Went to Lefty’s for breakfast and lunch on game day. Unfortunately there were no vegan options for breakfast and I settled for a homemade blueberry muffin which I considered the least off course. The muffin was good and my non-vegan friends really enjoyed their meals. For dinner there were a few options like modified salads or a black bean burger and there was a vegan appetizer as well. I was very happy with my cranberry walnut salad minus the blue cheese- it was very good. My friends also enjoyed their choices. Very friendly staff and quick service. I would suggest more vegan options for breakfast- maybe fresh fruit, oatmeal, even avocado toast to be at least a little accommodating to their vegan customers.

Pros: Good food, Quick service , Friendly staff

Cons: Need more vegan breakfast choices, Offer vegan protein like tofu as a salad topper

Delicious food

Had the black bean burger and homemade chips. Both were really good. Went with some non vegans and they loved their burgers.

Pros: Vegan food, Friendly staff

Cons: Need more vegan items

A good go-to spot in Blackburg

I have been to Lefty's a few times just for beers, and have enjoyed the patio and affordable craft beers on tap. I recently ate there for the first time and really enjoyed their house-made vegan black bean burger. I got the burger combo with a half Emerald Kale Salad (sans cheese and chicken), which was a solid salad with a delicious cilantro-lime vinaigrette. We also got the Potato Crisps (house-made chips) served with a curry vinaigrette which was a great appetizer, a large portion for two people. The friendly service, good beer list, and well-prepared food will keep me coming back. On our first visit we were expecting a brewery, which it used to be. But now they are between brewmasters, so I am looking forward to having some house-brewed beers there one day as well. Overall I would recommend this as a great spot for vegans craving beers and appetizers or a yummy plant-based burger. Also it's right across the street from Oasis Market for all your world cuisine shopping needs.

Pros: Good deals on beers, Easy parking in parking lot, A few vegan options, and easily veganized salads

Cons: Wish there were more vegan options on menu
