Good food, but bizarre business practice - Edit
We came here twice about half an hour after they had opened. On the first day, they told us we’d have to wait 30 minutes for the food - we did and we liked it. The second time we came though, they again told us that we‘d have to wait 40 minutes and that they were „open but not open“. It was obvious that the waiter just wanted us to go. So even though the food at this place is quite nice, it‘s just weird to go to a restaurant within their opening hours and not get any food.

Indian food worth trying - Edit
Clearly labeled, separate section of the menu for vegan items. We got 3, all were delicious. In a very cute part of the city. Friendly staff. Quaint restaurant. Reasonable prices.

Indian meal - Edit
Separate section of menu for vegan. Other items are labelled for allergens, so you can see, for example that Roti is vegan (they asked to confirm I didn't want butter with it).

Very good food - Edit
They have seperate vegetarian and vegan dishes on their menu. Some vegan side dishes and one sort of vegan bread. We had the „Tofu Palak“, the „Tofu Masala“ and as a side dish the „Roti“ bread „Daal Tadka“. Everything was delicious and the staff was very friendly.

Very good indian food but confusing menu! - Edit
They have a vegan menu section which is great but unfortunately two dishes were not actually vegan as they used ghee and milk products.
Read moreI tried the vegan tofu palak and I asked if it was actually vegan and it was. The food was very tasty and it was served with white rice. I also tried the vegan mango Lassi which is made with coconut cream. It was delicious but very hard to digest.
The staff was very nice but not sure if the vegan dishes were actually vegan but they asked the chef to make sure they were.
Pros: Vegan options, Tasty food, Nice staff
Cons: Confusing menu

Great vegan menu! - Edit
I love that they have a separate vegan menu, and that they use tofu as a paneer alternative. You could olso get traditional vegan dishes such as Tadka Dal and Aloo Gobi. I had the palak (spinach) tofu with roti flatbread and indian pickles. My friend had the tofu masala. We also tried the vegan mango lassi. Soo good and such a cozy place. Perfect for date night or a nice dinner with a friend.
