Really nice - Edit
About 10 miles out of Newry is a sit in, fully plant based cafe that focuses on actual vegetables.
Read moreThey seem to have a rotating menu of salads and offerings, all of which are good.
If salad dodging, you can get traybakes (buns, cake) and coffee too.
We got 2 mains and were seved pretty quickly. Has seating area now, to update from previous reviews.
Not cheap for the main but worth it.
Definitely somewhat surprising for this neglected but beautiful part of the world.
Pros: Vegetable prominence, Speed of service

Amazing salads. Worth the diversion on the way to Dublin. - Edit
Lovely staff and great food that feels like they actually care, with very generous servings.
Read moreIf you're on the way from Belfast to Dublin (or VV) this is a short diversion and well worth it. - better than stopping off at a "service" area!
Pros: The staff are lovely, Great coffee, Delicious salads
Cons: Harsh sound- ?install some baffles?

New location with inside dining - Edit
Great selection of wholesome plant based meals. Everything is beautifully crafted and presented with large portions and lots of variety. Most meals are garnished with extras like salad, hummus, bread and/or seeds. The cakes and traybakes are delicious and contain wholefoods like chia, nuts etc. I suspect there is some oil used in the cooking. Everything is delicious. The cafe is really small but friendly. A real gem. I wish there were more places like this in NI. Just seeing the variety of food here and how tasty it was helped a couple of omnivores transition to plant based.

Note that the shop is no longer a sit-down cafe: rather it does take-away salads, cakes and coffees, all of which are delicious!

Really fantastic - Edit
So amazing to find a vegan and gluten free place and it was genuinely one of the best cafés I've ever been to. The potato salad and pesto was the best I've had.

The jewel of Warrenpoint - Edit
The best vegan café I have ever visited. The staff are so bubbly and attentive, the food is extremely flavoursome and rich (I could eat a loaf of the fresh 5 seed bread by myself!), the coffee and abundance of sweet treats are amazing! I would recommend anyone in the area to visit, I can assure you that you won’t regret it!

The first 100% vegan place in the area! A cosy and friendly coffee shop, serving delicious cakes, barista style coffee, and also soups, salads and light meals. They also sell some vegan produce.
