Vegan options! - Edit
Cute and clean place. Menu clearly written on a big wall board which was great. Some stuff was labeled vegan and I was told most of their menu items could be made vegan. We got the soy chorizo wrap and Thai soup with side salads for a late lunch. The salads were just lettuce, and way underdressed. Super boring. The soup was decent but not amazing. The wrap looked fantastic but was lacking flavor. They have a selection of local sauces on a shelf which I really should have used but forgot to. I will go again and try some of their other menu items. Might’ve just been an off day. The service wasn’t anything to write home about either, and quite slow but again it could’ve been an off day. They make the food right behind the counter and there is only one person is preparing it so if you need a fast meal, this isn’t the place. I’ve heard really good things about this restaurant though so I need to try it again.

Still a Favorite - Edit
This was the first restaurant I ate at when visiting Bellingham for my first time, and now I'm lucky enough to live down the street from them! Still love them after all these years! Lots of options, good quality food, healthy, great value for price.

One of my favorites - Edit
I crave their tempeh! Big fan of the vegan Caesar (with tempeh added, of course) and BLTA wraps. My husband loves the soyrizo wrap. Great place to take visitors because they have a variety of food that everyone can enjoy. All of their vegan fruit crisps are amazing, too.

Bad experience - Edit
I have been to leaf & ladle twice, both times the server was smug and condescending. I should add that was a few years ago, but I will never go back. In fact, the second time I had the same server as the first time, she had the same rotten attitude as the first time and I left without ordering

Lots of vegan options! - Edit
They have many menu items that come as vegan and need no modifications. They have wraps, paninis, salads, soups, and more. My favorite is the BTLA wrap that has tempeh that is beautifully seasoned to perfection! They sometimes have vegan Mac and cheese in their to-go case & also sometimes have vegan desserts.

Quick lunch/dinner spot with multi vegan options - Edit
Leaf and Ladle has soups, salads, and hot or cold sandwiches, wraps and panini. The staff is usually very quick and friendly and they also have a fantastic beverage selection (including beer/wine and kambucha). At least 10-15 vegan options always on the menu including vegan cookies. This place is a go to. They are consistent.

Yum! - Edit
Not much seating, but the food is delicious. The menu is written on a whiteboard and all vegan options are clearly labeled. The coconut bacon wrap was one of the best I’ve had.

This place is a bit small and fills up fast. Lots of vegan options so I would have to come more often and try everything!
Read moreI had a vegan panini with avocado and side of chips. It was delicious, especially after adding some hot sauce on top . It was a bit sad to see pork and chicken on the menu tight in between the vegan options, but “to each their own”. My friend had a chicken quesadilla and enjoyed it.
Pros: Lots of vegan options , Clean, Knowledgeable staff
Cons: No alcoholic drinks , Small space, tight seating , non vegan options are prob.cooked on same grill

Awesome vegan options! - Edit
I’m always happy each time I choose to go here! They always have a vegan soup, creative and actually filling vegan salad options, wraps and sandwiches! It’s hard to choose what to eat there because everything is so tasty! They had a wrap with soy chorizo last time I went and it was to die for. Their vegan Caesar salad is so tasty. Homemade vegan croutons and fake parm too! Yum!

Amazing! - Edit
I ordered the vegan blta, which can be served as a wrap or a salad. I got it as a wrap with greens on the side, and it was amazing! Ate half and took the other half home. Also tried the vegan tomato basil soup, so yummy on a cold fall day!! They have at least 4-5 daily vegan options, and many others that can easily be made vegan. Check out their to go case for pre-made vegan mac and cheese or tofu curry, or quarts of soup!

really appreciate their vegan options - Edit
I just recently discovered this gem, they have daily options of panini's soups salads and wraps that are vegan. The restaurant is small, clean and has a very friendly staff. Since Bellingham has so few vegan options in restaurants, this has become my go to place for lunch. The food itself is a wholesome and delicious.

One of the best lunch spots in Bellingham. - Edit
I just love Leaf and Ladle. Their menu rotates often to ensure quality ingredients so make sure to check out their Facebook page for the recent offerings. They always have a vegan panini & wrap on the menu as well as a vegan Caesar salad. Everything I have tried has been exceptional. Their salads are crispy and have just the right amount of dressing and their wraps & paninis are bursting with flavor and veggies. Occasionally they have vegan mac and cheese in the to-go case. Do yourself a favor and get some! You won't be disappointed.
