Vegan choices but uninspiring - Edit
The server was helpful but we had to pick from the €15 vegetarian 3 course menu.
Read moreWe didn't both want a starter which was hard to convey. However the aubergine and potato "pakora" with light salad and condiments was tasty.🙂
A flat naan "naturale"/sans beurre was a welcome addition as we were hungry, but it wasn't puffy like I'd expect a naan to be.🤷♀️
The mains, a dahl without butter/sans beurre/"naturale" had a little texture from the yellow peas. My dish was supposed to have potatoes but was smooth. Both were pale brown and tasted of caramelised onion and little else.😐 Basmati rice.
We declined the fresh fruit which was the vegan dessert option. We each had a Kingfisher beer, which is described online as "vegan friendly". Cost €38
Pros: Helpful waiter, Pakora starter, Suitable beer
Cons: Lacked flavour and texture, needs more spices., Presentation, was dull and boring to look at., Cost. €15 each for this poor quality meal.
