Endroit cosy pour restauration rapide

Petit restaurant servant principalement des burgers. 100% végé avec options vegan. Pris modéré. Petit coin chill au fond du magasin avec sofas et ambiance tamisée. Super bar à jus !!

Nice option in Dijon

Was a little bit sceptic because of the recent bad reviews but I was pleasantly surprised.
Almost every item on the menu can be veganized so you have quite a large selection (which is quite rare for a vegan in this area^^)

The food wasn't the best but it all tasted good. But the customer service was great.

Overrated

We went there and were so disappointed. My man took the burger and I had the falafel wrap. It was so greasy. Fast food. Nothing more than that.

Nice food

I just had a starter (pakora?), but it was really good! My boyfriend thought his vegetarian burger was ok.

Food for the hungry - don't expect anything exceptional

Pros:
- Cute little place a short walk from the main tourist office and ducal palace/art museum.
- Has outside and indoor seating, in the back even on cushions if you are so inclined. Outdoor is right on the street but it is narrow and was not too busy on the Monday we were there. Much retail is closed Monday so it could be different on other days
- Pretty much a basic vegan burger place. Don't go expecting authentic Indian food or you will be sorely disappointed.
- Staff were friendly and helpful. Between our little french and their better english we did just fine.
- It's the only option in Dijon and we were thankful to have it.
- Papdam was quite good as was the lime pickle. The raitha was a nice tart yogurt with carrots, so not exactly riatha - no onion, cilantro, or ginger that we could detect.
- Prices are moderate.
- Right around the corner from the museum of burgundy life, which is a fascinating window into pieces of every day life in the region throughout the centuries.

Cons
- Food is satisfying but the dishes we ordered were not exceptional. This is what we expected given the other reviews so it met our expectations.
- Ordered the Indian plate and a veg burger.
- Curry was pretty bland combo of tomatoes onion and frozen peas.

over-hyped

Honestly, I don't get the hype around this place. I've been there twice now and both times I was so disappointed.
The first time we had dhal and samosa as appetizers (both were served almost cold) and then burgers as the main course. I ordered a burger with "roasted veggies" but found none on the burger (unless they were in the patty itself?). Honestly, for 8,50€ you only get bread, patty, some shredded salad and loads of mayo. There are no veggies or anything to accompany the burger.
On my second visit, I got the falafel sandwich, thinking that I might get more for my money but no. Same thing, bread, salad and mayo, no vegetables in sight. Probably the most disappointing falafel I have ever eaten. (and it's also 8,50€!!) Also, I seems to me, that none of it is home-made, even the salad tasted pre-bought.
The staff is nice though and the ambiance is very relaxed, but I don't think I'll ever go there again to eat.

Pros: the vegan mayo

Cons: too expensive

A Totally Enlightening Experience

Do not miss this absolute gem , the food ,service , decor and energy if this place is totally amazing , we had the cannibal burger which is 2 different vegan burgers and we also had the Mexican wrap with a fresh made soda and amazing chai and it was €21 which is amazing , after the amazing food we spoke with the owner who also had a beautiful space downstairs for events and we enjoyed a transformational evening of kirtan singing ,highly highly recommend if your looking for a conscious hang out with high vibes and amazing food

Pros: the staff, food, events everything

Relaxed Place

This looks like is a bit of everything kind of place.
I suspect there's a yoga studio somewhere in this venue.
We had a freshly squeezed juice each.
Then we opted for the special which is a main + dessert.
Main can be a burger, a falafel in pita or a vegan sausage roll.
I had the falafal and my other half had the vegan 'steack' burger. For dessert I went for the chocolate gateaux and he had the nectarine crumble.
Food was good and also good value.

Pros: Good value, Fair portions

magnifique!

Really, really good food! Super nice le cannibal burger, and the Indian curry platter was incredible! Downside is that they don't serve any alcohol, but can get over that without too much difficulty. Was very pleased! Merci.

Really good!

A friend took me there once and now I want to go back again! I loved this place. The food was really good, the staff was friendly and the restaurant itself is so pretty.
We sat on pillows on the ground, I found it quite nice! (there are tables too don't worry).
There was vegan cake too!

Highly recommand

Delicious veggie burgers

They have several different kinds of veggie burgers, including a vegan one. My wife and I shared different burgers, and we loved both. There is seating inside and out. I also had homemade club soda, which was very good. The only issue was finding the restaurant. Our GPS got us there, but the really narrow streets were not that easy to drive down. We were lucky to find a parking place just outside the restaurant, because all the other spaces on the street were taken.

fabulous vegan burgers

Best veg place around

I used to live in Paris, I travel a bit all around the world and I must say this place is one of the best veg place you can go to. Living in Dijon for two years, I go there at least every other week.
Not exactly what you would expect from a regular restaurant, more of a tea place offering food. Everything's fresh (including the bread picked up daily from a local bakery) and mostly organic (and locally grown). Soups are homemade and delicious (broken peas, chickpeas and leek are some examples). Sandwiches are amazing with a variety of plant-based proteins (their soy steak is unique!). Lots of fresh juices and a wide variety of teas. Homemade deserts and recently vegan cupcakes are available. Vegan options on demand apart from the ones already on the menu (including a yummy vegan burger made with tofu).
Not to be forgotten is the kindness of the owner who always have good stories about his many trips to India, and helps making this restaurant a peaceful and special place.

Pros: tasty, fresh & organic, original, more and more vegan options, peaceful environment

Cons: do not expect a regular restaurant

Not impressed

Friendly staff but the food isn't great. This is what I consider cheap fast food and not a restaurant.

They don't cook much, just make sandwiches and samosas and use a micro wave to warm things up !!

I had a soup which was tasteless and reminded me of those you can buy already made in store .

The bread wasn't fresh for the sandwich, it was very chewy like if it has been kept all day in a plastic bag.

I would only go to that place if I need a lunch bag because I'm in a rush and being vegan make it hard to eat anywhere else in town.

Fantastic meal

The menu was varied enough and the food was so fresh and beautifully presented (ours and sneaking a peak at other diners'). This was the best meal we had whilst on a ten day holiday in France, perfectly balanced vegan food. The staff were very friendly.

Very good option in the region

Is very difficult to find vegetarians places in France, and in particular in this region.
Very good stuff and imaginative meals.
many of the dishes can become vegans easily, don't hesitate to ask for it.

Pros: Price, Quality

Cons: None
