Beautiful location for a treat - Edit
Yes, it’s expensive. But if you want to splash out for a special occasion it’s worth it. Beautiful location, on a terrace overlooking the lake. Immaculate service. Live piano music. Various amuses bouches. Very much a fine dining experience. We had the 5-course vegan tasting menu - something of a rarity in itself. Some dishes were excellent (cold cucumber, kiwi and basil stew), others such as a pea risotto were a bit ordinary. But the overall experience was lovely.

Excellent vegan fine dining - Edit
Le Relais is one of the restaurant of the Grand Hotel Villa Castagnola, which is in general quite vegan-friendly. The food at Le Relais was creative with outstanding taste and the service excellent. I had the vegan degustation menu. There was a very interesting and memorable risotto with oranges that I’ll certainly remember.

Beautiful setting comes at a price - Edit
It's nice to see vegan cuisine at the high end, too - but it will cost you 105 franks for a five course menu. The setting is very beautiful, though, with a private park in the right in the town.
