Amazing vegan restaurant

I went here with my family (1 vegetarian and 2 omnivores) and everyone enjoyed the food. The staff were extremely friendly. They have a great selection and each dish we tried was amazing.

The onion soup was delicious, as well as the spinach lasagne and the special of the day - seitan with creamy mushroom sauce and dauphinois potatoes (see photo).

Zen and good food

The service was friendly and quick, the food tasty and the portions generous, the decoration seems alternative lifestyle, it was also quiet, and we loved the peaceful atmosphere.
The price is ok for the location and quality.

Pros: Peaceful atmosphere, Tasty food, Location

French classics

I had the french onion soup, seitan burguignon and the crème brûlée.
It was pretty crowded, but we got lucky and someone canceled.

The food was pretty good, although it feels like non-vegan components are simply swapped out, instead of trying to match the original taste-wise rather than ingredients.

Although fully booked service was good.

It was a great experience to try, not sure if I'd be coming here often.

Good takes on French classics

We had the bourguignon, which was tasty, and the service was great. The food wasn’t out of this world, but it was a good version of the original - and making vegan versions of classics isn’t easy!

Not worth visiting

Unfortunately, this place did not deliver the expectations. The onion soup was bland and tasteless (missing salt), and the seitan with red wine reminded me of bland vegan food from one decade ago. The food was completely an opposite of something that I would imagine being in a French bistro with so many options. We did not asked for dessert due to the huge disappointment of the meal. Additionally, the place is cold and not welcoming. For me, not recommended at all.

Veganised vegan food

I had been dreaming about the French onion soup for days and it didn’t disappoint. What a wonderful dish and one I’d love to be able to replicate at home in London.
I also had tartiflette, this was rich and decadent. Luckily this was served with a side salad to lighten the palate.
My partner had a pumpkin soup (good, but didn’t match the onion soup) and seitan bourguignon with dauphinois potato. This was excellent.
We were going to leave without dessert but seeing that our table neighbours had creme caramel we thought we’d indulge as well. We are glad that we did. Yum!

Good but a little expensive

Good vegan recreation of traditional French cuisine. Book your dinners if possible.

Excellent take on French classics

The French onion soup was very tasty - good combination of mild soup with extra savour topping. The crepe with leeks and mushrooms could be a bit tastier, maybe if made with oat flour or wheat flour+water or plant milk.
The bourgignon with seitan, to be honest, the seitan was kind of weird. The sauce though was very aromatic and thick.
The tarte tatin was divine, with slightly sour caramelised fruit.
A bit pricey, but the portions are huge.

Vegan french onion soup!!

I loved French onion soup prior to going vegan so I was ecstatic to find a well made, authentic vegan version. Would definitely recommend. Small place, make a reservation if you are with a group

Great, nostalgic food

Really tasty nostalgic food, made with proper ingredients - not just fast food burgers etc that you find in many other restaurants these days. The cassoulet we had was a bit dry, but the other dishes and drinks we had were really good. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Pros: Many tasty options, Great non alcoholic beverages

Cons: Noisy, Crowded and cramped

Worst service ever

We had to leave before our food was served because of an emergency. We apologized to the server, asked for doggy bags they didn’t give us, paid for the full bill, and all that very respectfully although we were a bit sad not to leave with our food. But the server started shouting in front of the whole restaurant that it was a crazy waste because he was about to throw away the food (Is it our fault if you don’t provide doggy bags? Can’t someone else eat it as it is still cooking in the kitchen and we haven’t touched it yet?). I mean, we just lost 100$ on a food we’ll never taste so I think we’re aware of the waste. I think compassion should be taught there, shame it doesn’t naturally come with being vegan.

Very good! Recommend

Maybe not the best I’ve had - but very good. I will definitely be back. Considering some of the reviews I did not have a great deal of confidence. So I was happy surprised.

Yes, the French onion soup was excellent And so was the Bourguignon done with seitan. My only complaint might be that I thought the food was overly salted.

I don’t understand peoples complaints about the price I thought it was extremely well priced for the quantity and quality.

Pros: All vegan, Flavorful take on vegan French , Cheerful staff

Cons: Food was a bit over salted

Great dining experience

Made reservations before we headed to Paris. We saw a lot of people turned away without reservations. I had the mushroom pate appetizer. It’s was really good but was filling making no room for dessert😞 Next I had the chicken seitan special. It was good but was not great. The potatoes were well prepared. A lot of the dishes that came out looked really good too.

Great vegan french food

Tried this place with a large group of 8 so we could try everything on the menu. It was a great meal and the experience was also good because the staff is lovely. It can however get a bit crowded because it's a restaurant that really attracts people so you need to make a reservation.
Plus, we made it for just under 30€ each having eaten entrée + main course + desert which is really fair in Paris.

Pros: French food made vegan, Fair price for Paris
